Workshop at Spat's, 2/1/2003 - 1pm

Me and Natasha are going. Probably stay that night at Zippy's b/c we plan on going out in NYC after the workshop. Anybody else wanna go?

What types of costuming are going to be worked on? I saw it said no Vaccuing.. I'm looking to do two chest boxes and armor for Tie pilots.

 

sounds like they are working on foam and latex appliances. i believe that mostly people who are participating in the fellowship of the rings costume group for dragon con are going. armor, if not already formed, will have to wait. i don't know about chest boxes. you could email spat directly and ask him. his website is www.spatcave.com

I'm passsing too, I doubt I will be in need of his help for my current costume, but I will email him to takl about a future project that I think I could use his services. Too bad, I really like hanging out with the NY groups.

Meriwyn, thanks for thinking about me. I would have to look into getting a sitter for Brandon though, not taking him to NYC anytime soon. If Zippy wouldn't mind me and my airbed again, I will look into coming up.

As much as I would love to go, I can't get a sitter and a couple of things have popped up that I need to focus on. I promise to go next time.

 

Well I'm stuck home with the flu. I've been on my couch most of the day watching tv. Probably not going to make it to Spat's tomorrow. Depends how I feel. At least I'm keeping some food down, though nothing appeals. Perhaps the next time.
