Haha, it has always been England for me

 

I keep rooting for the teams that won the last World Cup so it's France.

Will be interesting if Japan or Korea will go into the Semi-Finals.

Yup France definitely has a good chance, but my heart always goes with England. If only there was a Star Wars XI

 

Will the team that win the trophy 3 times get to keep it forever like Brazil?

 

Keep it forever? I'm not sure if there's such a reward. There are a few teams who have won it thrice like Italy. Brazil is the only team which won it 4 times.

Usually the winner will keep the trophy for 4 years before it is used for the next world cup.

If anybody knows more about this, or knows the correct info, pls correct me

 

With the first trophy in the era of Pele, Brazil won it 3 times (consercative?) and so keep the trophy forever. It's depicted on their logo and my dad say it's solid gold.

Think France must win this year and in 2006 if they will get Brazil's luck!

 

Yeah it's solid gold..but the funny thing is that if anyone drops it on hard ground, it's gonna be dented!

 

Have a feeling that SPAIN will be the black horse this round.
As for Asian teams, I suppose Korea will be the stronger of the 3 (China the weakest) judging by the couple of warm up match - the Koreans did quite impressively.

Now Jazz dude, if there's a StarWars XI, the Jedis will surely win the World Cup hands down Whahahaha!!

DE - Haha I saw that clip too..very realistic though. Size does matter.

As for Holland not in this year's WC, I think it's surprising but not a heart-wrenching shock. Every team has at one time not been in the WC except for Brazil. And that includes Italy, England, Argentina etc..
