Hum, it seems as though 8 yrs ago i was staying up late trying to watch the games....cause i was in singapore. Now im staying up late watching the games here....cause im in the US. Hopefully, next time, ill be a lot closer...

I must say the referee for the Korea/Italy match is really KAYU!

The Koreans are really rough thruout the game! And the referee issued a red card to the Italians instead!!!! What????!!!!

ummmm......welll......US hasnt been in the world cup for that long....everyone here says its a boring sport....hearing people not care makes me think they dont deserve to win.

 

I'm quite glad USA is in the Q-finals, albeit against the Germans.

 

I think the US vs Germany will be an awesome game. i just found $0.50 on the couch, anyone want to bet? hehe

So my gut feeling that the Koreans - among the 3 Asian team will go the furthest - has materialised. I pretty much supported China from the outset but I know the Chinese will not go far as I figure they are the weakest - both in terms of skills and mentality - among them 3. Didn't like the Japs either. So, Korea Korea Korea!!!

 

I can't believe have to wait two whole days for friday to come...

 

Anyone seen the papers today on the sacking of a Korean player from an Italian club.

 

Yeah...seems to me Italy is being quite 'sore-loser-ish'...

 

The most "sore-loserish" would probably be Argentina. It's not hard to be symphatetic with them though.

In a way Argentina did not act the way Italy did back in their country when they saw that they lost.

 

I am very shameful to be a Italian Supporter. I don't think I will wear their jersey in the coming months. Not because they lost to a minnow, but by their unsportmanship. Ultimate disgrace. Anyway that match right, either side deserves to win. Italy play a fool and didn't convert their chances. The chances are those clear cut, one on one. On the other hand, Koreans play with passion. In the end, they took their chances well. At the end of the day, isn't the number of goals scored that matters?

That's the chance I'm referring. If they did not underestimate Korea, Vieri would probably put that in.
