I'd say Brazil, but this is a World Cup of upsets and unexpected outcomes. You never know what could happen.

    I support Brazil.

    GO BRAZIL!

    :p

I already bet $10 on a draw. Not bad ah the payout $1 to $2.95. But I hope Eng can go thru either on full time or extra time. No penalties pls, coz brazil are way too good in penalties. Quite funny, y eng n brazil are in last eight. Neither 2 perform to their standards.

Brazil hasn't been defending well for all their matches so far maybe except the match against China. And their attack need more than 10 chances before Ronaldo or Rivaldo put them behind the net. SHameful. The only reason I watch Brazil play is the entertainment they provide.

As for England, everyone knows that they get their goals during counter attack or set pieces. This system will only work if they have luck that day. True enuff, they have the luck against Argentines and Danish. Most of the matches, after getting the odd goal they will sit back n defend. I must say this is a dangerous tactics. BThe opposition might juz punish them. Bear in mind, their coach is well trained in Italy b4 (Lazio's former coach). He might have juz taught them the Italian way of defending, but Korea has shown this system is not invincible.

Anyway, tell us, who do u think perform the best in this world cup.
I personally vote for Senegal. They really have a great outing and play with passion for the whole 90 minutes. PPl might say it was a fluke to beat France. But how about the performance against Denmark and Uruguay and also Sweden? Absolutely great.

Depressed. Honestly Eng didn't have a great outing. Hope they play passing game in next world cup. As stated in my earlier post, eng can't seat back and defence after 1 goal. Somemore they're playing a team called Brazil. Enuff said. Anyway, do anyone of u know that Eng have the youngest team in the World cup? I'm sure young players like Vasell, Ferdinand, Ashely Cole, Joe Cole will be at their prime at 2006. Not to mention the next host nation who also has a relatively young team. Cheer up, England fans!!! God will save the queen during 2006.

We have the European championship of 2004 to look forward to as well

Do you get to watch that over here?

Yup, sure we do.. England losing 3-2 to Portugal in 2000 was just as painful as losing now to Brazil. But I'm sure u know the European Championship is not really anywhere as prestigious as the WC :)

Just saw USA got outclassed 1-0 by Germany. Sigh, I was hoping they could go further.. :(

tmingyang - Agree with u..I like his skills but his integrity is horrible.

Delta7_Interceptor - It's Ronaldinho who was sent off, and well, although I like England, that foul didn't deserve a straight red

    :)

I agree that the foul by Ronaldinho didn't deserve a straight red. Rivaldo sure knows how to act, however. And England needs to practice their diving if they even want to try it!

Wasn't supporting England; a bit mad at them for knocking out Denmark :(
