I was wondering if anyone has given thought to what type of characters they will be playing?
I don't even know what type of characters are available to play....
Human, Werewolves, Vampires, Mage. And I believe their are otherworldy/paranormal type skills you can take for humans. I know there's a "Sight" you can take that lets you percieve and be more aware of spiritual planes. That type of thing.
I'm even allowing you to be mutants and have superpowers because MoronDude never got to play M&M......but I did say he wouldn't be allowed to use his powers to fight crime....
How do you intend on balancing that with someone playing a mere human?
I'll let the human have a few more xp at character creation to give them a human-y edge....
ooo now what type of a mage??? cause i really doubt it's like a mage in Asheron's Call.
Not exatly sure, the corebook for Mage: The Awakening just came out yesterday, I dont have it yet. However if you go [link=http://www.white-wolf.com/downloads.php?&category_id=18]here[/link] and download the Summer quarterly 2005 there is an article about Mage the Awakening you can read in there. It sounds pretty interesting.
So is a vampire slayer just a human with cool powers? They don't actually fit into the Vampire, Mage or Warewolf categories.
Vampire slayer? You guys are going to be serious about this game right?
Of course. I'm not gonna be a goofy "Buffy" type.
no matter what i do....i can't get that darned thing to open....whether i download it or just try to open it....won't let me do it.
What are you talking about?
i can't read the summer 2005 quarterly.
