His face tightens at my words. I gloat inwardly to see him lost for words
He snarls
?Be careful Lord Vader...your arrogance blinds you to many things...?
?It is you that is blind...? I spit
He laughs, the dry cackle, sending shivers down my spine, I shudder with revulsion as I look at his scarred face. He really was the most repulsive sight. I smirk as I sense his rage at the thought.
?You really thought that I would stand by you...??
?You are a Sith...it is in your blood...The Jedi was never right for you...you will stand by me because it is your destiny...?
?This was never my destiny....?
?You made the choice...?
?Under false pretences!?
He just laughs
?You told me you could save her...?
He shakes his head

I snarl, pressing the lightsaber to his throat
?You let yourself be lied to because...it wasn?t really Padme you wanted to save...? I tremble with rage

?Yes!? he hisses ?It is always about power...you wanted to control her destiny...stop time...defy the circle of life...?

I press the lightsaber deeper to his throat
?Go ahead...it will only fuel the flames...The Sith will be stronger than ever...We shall rule the galaxy forever more...?
With a growl I press forward, tensing as I hear Leia wail
The Emperor tenses, looking at me; I shake as a malicious smile spread across his repugnant features
?Ah!? he laughs ?So I was right...? he breathes
?Leia...?
He throws his head back and laughs
?What do you think Vader?? he murmurs, I turn to him, then back to the door
?Leia?
?Should I kill her now...?
I swallow, fighting the tears
?Or should I just kill you...such a young child...so malleable...?

I shiver as Leia?s voice roars in my head
?She will not serve you...?
I gasp as the door hisses open, two storm troopers emerging with a wailing Leia
?Then she will die!?
?Leia!? I turn to her, gasping as I am thrown of my feet
?Just as I thought...blind as ever...soft,? he snarls, there is a whoosh of air, as he stands, I hear a lightsaber buzzing to life

?It is OK angel? I assure her, jumping to my feet, The Emperor laughs lunging at me, I dodge him quickly, grasping my fallen lightsaber, lighting it
The Emperor growls, spinning through the air

I quickly dodge to the left, his saber missing me by mere millimetres, jumping up just in time as our sabers clash; we pull apart watching each other warily
?Let her go? I roar to the trooper, he looks between the two of us, obviously unsure
?He does not follow your orders now?
?LET HER GO?
?KILL HER!? he roars
?Nooooooooooooooo!? I wail, turning the trooper grabs her by the throat
?Leia!? I whimper The Emperor?s laughter ringing in my ears I fall to my knees. We both gasp as both troopers are flung against the wall, I gasp as I see her falling, reaching out, and using all my might I ease her down on the ground using The Force
?Very touching display,? The Emperor sneers, but I can see he is shaken. ?She is strong...?
?She is my daughter...? I murmur proudly
?Just think...what a team we could make...we would be unstoppable...the three of us....? he murmurs in a cajoling tone
I snort
?The girl could be your heir... inherit...an empire...?
?True? I murmur
He laughs
?But that only leaves one thing...?
?Yes Lord Vader....??
?If Leia is to be my heir...what do we need you for?? I growl, his eyes widen in shock

Good action scene! It looks like the biggest threat for Anakin and Leia is gone.

 

I immensely enjoyed that. I guess Vader did need Leia after all.

I smile at Leia as I survey all that is mine...mine and hers...ours.
i whirl round as the troopers stumble upwards, jumping back as they see the remains of The Emperor strewn on the floor
I laugh at their discomfiture
"looks like you chose the wrong side" I snarl, they look at each other warily

I smile down at my angel, her wide eyes looking back up at me I stroke her cheek
"But darling..."

THERE ARE PLENTY OF THEM...THEY ARE NOTHING

"Don't" I plead hoarsely

"Leia" i murmur, tormented the image mingling with my precious padme, gasping for air...at my hand....No!

With a growl, I force choke the traitor he falls to his knees pleading, but it is no use, all i can see is my Padme, begging me, and me...me..killing her...NOOOOOOOOOOOO! He must die, he will bear my guilt for this moment I clutch Leia closer as the life seeps from the traitorous body
the other trooper, tries to run, but he too must face his destiny, and it is not long before another body joins the others

I smile at her weakly. i wonder what she thinks of me, surely she can read my mind? What she thinks of the man that killed her mother does she hate me as much as I hate myself? Would that even be possible? I think as I kiss the reddened area where he had choked her. No...No one could hate me as much as i did myself

 

Spooky, Leia is one weird little kid ; well I still like this.

We haven't seen much guilt from Anakin since Leia came into the picture. Glad to see it back though. It can only help to make him seem more human.

 

Well, that was most interesting! Good action. I hope Vader doesn't actually try to kill Padme.

Leia gurgles in delight
I smile down at her, stroking her cheek

DADDY

"Hm?" I smile down at her

OBI WAN

I tense at my old friend's name

"what about him?" I murmur, peering out onto our empire to calm my thoughts

WE NEED TO FIND HIM

"And we will" I assure her gently

HE IS A THREAT

I shiver at the warning tone, she was but a child, how was she so? was it just the force inside her

I AM YOUR CHILD

that is the only explanation, she offers

I smile down at her again, tensing as the door whooshes open

"yes?" I roar, two stormtroopers quiver as they walk inside, peering at Leia nervously
"yes?" I snap again
"Lord Vader..."

EMPEROR!

I smile affectionately down at my little angel, so like her mother

"My daughter corrects you..."

they peer at me in confusion,standing, i let my cloak float behind me like a giant shroud, clasping Leia in my arms

"It is Emperor Vader now..."
"We beg pardon..."
"emperor..."
I smile, bowing my head

DOES THAT MAKE ME EMPRESS?

I smile down at her
"No"
She peers at me disgruntled
"There is only one empress...your mother"
I urge the stormtroopers further in, beaming as I see what they are carrying. A small gown,
"it is exactly the same..." I breathe
they look at each other then me, nodding happily
"You are pleased..."
I nod
"Yes, you have done well"
I lift Leia up, smiling I murmur
"She will look just like her mother"

 

Vader

?There you are?
Her wide eyes blink up at me in bewilderment
I laugh stroking the chubby cheek, as I look down on her adoringly, tracing my finger over the intricate beading of the dress

DADDY?

I smile as I sense her confusion, pulling her into my arms I stalk towards my chambers

DADDY?

She questions again
?Sssh patience...? I soothe
She does not reply just looks around the room dark eyes taking in everything, she does not miss a thing my Leia
I stroke the small dark tufts of hair at the nape of her neck, pressing her head to my chest gently as I carry her towards the glass
She strains forward eagerly

ME SEE

?Yes darling? I mumur, grinning as I hold her up so that she can see her reflection

OOOH

She murmurs as she sees the sequins sparkle in the light, which bounces against the glass casting shimmering rainbow hues around the darkened room
?Do you like it?? I whisper
She blinks, for a moment as if considering surveying herself

YES DADDY

?Good? I breathe
She looks up at me for a moment before turning her gaze back to the mirror
?Your mother had one just like it...? I whisper
She peers at her image closer that pleases her I can tell. I stroke the soft curls again, soon that would grow too, thick and long like Padme?s
?I used to brush her hair,? I whisper, as I clutch Leia closer, ?It was so beautiful? I choke, shivering as I remember running my fingers through its wondrous length
?Come!? I murmur, pulling her away, blinking back weak tears I turn on my heel as I see the storm troopers pile in
?Emperor?
I smile at them
?Yes?? I murmur silkily
I see the nervous jitter about them I stifle a laugh
?I....?
?Hurry up!!? I snap making them jump ?You are trying my patience...? I hiss, walking forward
?How is the work....?
?Sir....? he quavers ?We have but begun? he trembles
?What are you trying to say?? I hiss

?Are you saying you can not do what I ask!!!? I roar, force choking the first one
The others pile together fearfully
?Well???? I roar, flinging him aside
?Emperor...? they cower together
?I want it done, not tomorrow, later...I want it done NOWWW!!!?
?Yes....? they babble

I grin as I hear Leia?s disgruntled tone, she was not privy to my plans and this did not please her

?Leia, my love surely you can not expect your Mother to come home to us like this....? I breathe,
I grin at her confusion
?We rule the galaxy, you and I....and soon your mother shall join us...everything has to be perfect for her return....PERFECT....We are going to have a proper home Leia, like we never had...we will be a proper family, the three of us....?
