It attacks Windows XP and 2000.

Ir was discovered on Aug. 11 so if you haven't updated your antivirus protection you might have it.

as i am reading this, neither microsoft's website, and windowsupdate websites are running... they've been shut down... however
www.apple.com/switch it's still working... i wonder why...

Quien sabe. Quizas los apagones fueron de alguna manera causados por el W32 Blaster Worm... Es un virus que esta pasando a la gente por la piedra, y solo afecta a sistemas con Windows XP o 2000. Aqui en PRT hubo un brote brutal del virus, ya gracias a Dios se ha contenido.

Oh, and by the way, there haven't been any Mac virus outbreaks lately because people just don't bother to write viruses for MacOS any more. I mean, if you were a virus author, would you rather infect millions of PCs or just thousands of Macs? And those Microsoft websites were down because they are the intended target of the Worm.
