Styx... ok, but seriously... there really are too many to name... Hootie and the Blowfish, Silverchair, Pearl Jam after Vs., uh......... there are more... i just block them out
Hootie and the Blowfish...How can you hate Hootie and the Blowfish? I'm waiting for a letter of apology for "grunge" being the music of my high school years. So, aside for my utter contempt for Nirvanna, I'll go with... Snow ((groans)) EDIT: N'Sync... Like them or not, they've done things most other bands can only dream of and they put on a heck of a concert!
Everything Grn said. Honorable mentions: Dave Matthews Band Limp Bizkit Actually, I like SOME songs by both of them, but they are both WAY, WAY overrated.
I have to disagree about DMB. Or, at least about Dave Matthews himself. I saw him in concert a couple months ago and he was AMAZING. There's nothing overrated about him. I'm not much of a hater when it comes to music. Sure, there's stuff I don't like, but bands exist for everyone's individual tastes, not just my own. There's plenty of good stuff out there to keep me happy.
N'Sync. Backstreet Boys. NKOTB. 98 Degrees. I couldn't agree anymore. I'd also like to throw Smashing Pumpkins in there. Along with the band that the SP lead singer started that broke up after a poor showing of their 1st album.
AC/DC like... kicks ass dude! (uhh huh huh... uhh huh huh) Yeah! They ROCK!!! (FIRE... FIRE, FIRE) In case anyone is scratching their head, this is my poor attempt at bringing a Beavis and Butthead perspective into the thread.
