wow, this is potentially VERY funny thread!

 

i hope it is...give me something to laught at tonight when i am having a few cold ones

 

sorry i don't have any battle stories. Nothing truly horrible/horrendous/humerous here

 

Okay, here is mine. I was about 16, and I had a boyfriend at the time and we were pretty serious. My Mom didn't like that, and she was having her yard landscaped at the time. She got this really brilliant idea - she thought I should go out with one of the guys who was working on the landscaping crew. I told her no (the guy was cute but I was in to my boyfriend). She more or less told me I HAD to go out with this guy, or she'd be mad! So I did. The guy took me to a Lobo basketball game, and then afterward, asked me if I wanted to go to a bar and get a few drinks. Well, I had a fake ID, but I didn't want to prolong this date, so I said no. He drove me home, and before I got out of the car, he starts this huge philosophical conversation with me, and then proceeds to say, "There is something I have to tell you". He then informs me that he's married, but he really wants to **** me anyway. I declined, and then had a long conversation with my Mom about NOT EVER TRYING TO PICK MY BOYFRIENDS AGAIN!

 

With Bob, he didn't even open the door for me and I had to pay for the entire meal!

 

Well, I could tell you wouldn't live up to your end of the bargain at the end of the night!

 

End of the bargain?

 

you know how guys' minds work. they expect SOMETHING at the end of the night right?

I have one...

About 3 months after my divorce from my first husband, I decided to go date again. So I was set up with this guy and we go out to dinner then to a club in El Paso. So we have an OK night, nothing great. On our way back to Las Cruces, he honks at a TX State Trooper who has someone pulled over. A few miles down the road, my date gets pulled over. He has a warrant and in the back of the car he goes. Since I was drinking at the club, the officer wouldn't let me drive home, but he couldn't take me back to Cruces. So he let me use his cell phone to call someone. I couldnt' get a hold of anyone, being as it was 1 am. In desperation, I call my ex to see if he could pick me up. After 10 minutes of explaining this was not a ploy to get him back, he agreed and came to pick me up -- with his new girlfriend.

That was the longest 30 mile car ride of my life.

 

That story is definatley qualified to be on a "worst date" thread!

 

It is kind of funny though.

 

ouch...so did ya go out w/that guy again or take him a pack of smokes in the joint?

 

Karen, that is unbeleiveable.....

I don't really have any horror stories here....unless you want to change the thread to worst dating or relationships. I don't remember having 1 single date that was really jacked up...actually, most of my relationships weren't that bad either

Well, I almost got my butt kicked at a movie once. This "Christian" girl that I took started chucking my candy as soon as the movie started....but she threw like a girl, and was hitting the people right in front of me...Then I was mad because she was wasting Sour Patch Kids.....
