worst spin off movie is doing a spin off movie. Sorry, I'm not too thrilled by this.
One with no Jedi/Sith or force users would be a bad spin off. I'm not even sure I'd pay money at the theaters to watch a film solely about bounty hunters and pirates/smugglers.
Dude Who Stole My Speeder? (starring Ashton Kutcher & the other idiot)
Sarlacctopus . vs. . Megawomprat
Master Yoda's Christmas Carol Special
No Jedi Code Attached (starring Ashton and.....)

We've waited so long for the ultimate movie mash-up: Indiana Binks & The Jedi Temple of Doom.
I would say any spin-off film that contains crucial plot info for Episodes 7, 8 or 9 is an awful idea.
Don't get me wrong, I'm excited for spin-off films, but I'm hoping we don't see Disney and LFL pull a Marvel and make it so certain films HAVE to be seen in order for the Sequel Trilogy to make sense.
If anything, I'd want then to expand on ideas and characters, but not take away from the saga in order to beef up the spin-offs.
I'm reminded of the Enter the Matrix video game that took important characters and plot points from the Matrix sequels and made it so the game was very important to the film trilogy as a whole. If you miss out on the video game, then the Matrix sequels appear to have unresolved plots and characters that appear to be pointless.
Rule 63 Star Wars
Rule 34 Star Wars
Actually, I think Star Wars is one of the only fictional works where this would actually sort of make sense.
A full length film of this
