I see that Blue_10 once again has magically sent probes deep, or now as it would be: incredibly deep, into our territory. I demand an explanation on how he intends for them to arrive anywhere near those systems without being destroyed or detected long beforehand. If he does not, then I'll take the pleasure of blowing them out of space parsecs and parsecs away from their destinations.

Before anyone goes on any further in the main thread I strongly recommend you check the map to see if you still have control of your worlds after a year has passed.

A lot has changed over the year. The Yuuzhan Vong have gained a tremendous foothold in the galaxy. The Outer Rim has been torn apart by the Outer Rim War between the Outer Empire and the Alliance of Free Systems. There are no definate borders in the Outer Rim anymore as both sides have exchanged planets back and forth as the war raged on.

Most of the planets in the Outer and Mid Rim were randomly changed except those captured by the Yuuzhan Vong. That was determined by the Star by Star NJO map.

 

Okay - quick question for whichever member of the YVMF can answer. Seeing as how you now have a vast wedge of space running throughout the Expansion Region and Mid Rim, how is it defended?

If I was to try and transit through that space from, say, the Outer Rim to the Core, what exactly could I expect to encounter? Dovin basal minefields, coralskipper squadrons, etc?

 

Depends. Areas closer to the original Yuuzhan Vong space would have been taken long ago and would be better defended. If you're just trying to get through the slash of space, then there should be little problems unless you go too close to a planet or too original Yuuzhan Vong space. If you go too close to a Yuuzhan Vong world, you can expect a small layer of interdiction, and coralskipper squadrons.

Coota - I think the area around Bakura and the Ssi-Ruuvi Cluster is unnavigable because of some hyperspace disturbance. I am uncertain and the only one dealing with it right now is Thok so ask him. As for Ssi-ruuvi still existing, I believe the YVMF made them and the P'w'eck extinct.

 

The Bakuran Disturbance. I live there. Very difficult thing. It extends one thousand lightyears in every direction from Bakura. No hyperspace travel at all. Can't go very far in it, either. Space doesn't work quite right there.

I balk at allowing new members so late in the RP, but I suppose we could use an extra hand. Sure, read the first post in the main WotG thread to get yourself oriented, and then PM a GM to find out what the hell is going on. After you've done that, post here again for instructions.
