JCC Would Ironborn be a good thing for world politics or a nuisance?

How long would they be liked by all countries and people? Or would they succeed in performing rogue sowing operations that no one dares to do or has the saltwives to do? Would the war hawks like them or not?

 

Honestly? I guess their existence would validate all those people who claim they have pets as a way of protecting their home.

 

If the Ironborn were serving the state then they could be useful as a terror force used to break the wills of dissidents and enemies of the state. Though their reach would only be coastal and through rivers connecting to the sea, thus limiting their effectiveness.

Are we talking the book-Ironborn, who do not sow and pay the iron price, or the show-Ironborn, who run at the first sign of dogs, even when they're still locked in cages?

 

Everything dead never dying but rising again, harder and stronger, would probably put a pretty hefty burden on social security.

 

They'd ruin the economy too, since they refuse to pay the gold price.

 

They would really mess up the cruise industry and they've had a rough few years as is.
