PT Would it have been better if Dooku was given screentime in EP I?

As I stated above, this would have been great for TPM. Seems as though most find him very appealing as I have read many arguments back and forth why so many stick up for him and his cause when all he has turned out to be is evil. This is usually what happens when you go down that path. Really can't feel for the guy, but his ora of coolness adds to the prequels and cannot be understated.

 

There is so much which was shortcut. Wasn't it that there should be originally 12 parts of SW? Thus Dooku is definitely not the only shortie in SW-movies.

 

It would be better if he were introduced as the antagonist much earlier in AOTC.

--Jango attacks Padme instead of Zam
-- Obi-Wan identifies the dart as Kamionan with force meditation to shorten the investigation
-- Obi-Wan goes to Kamino
-- Obi-Wan sees Dooku giving Jango instructions
-- Dooku force pushes Obi-Wan and orders Jango to hold him back while he departs
-- Obi-Wan calls Anakin for back-up before he tracks Jango's ship
-- Everything else happens more or less the same
