Would it have helped Obi-Wan if Anakin had seen him in Moulin Rouge?

Think about it. Anakin could have taken some pointers from old Ben and tried the "Your Song" approach with Padme. Anakin might have really respected Obi-Wan after that!

BTW, this is supposed to be a parody/comedy thread, so lighten up if you take it too seriously!

Hmmm... I dunno, Anakin definately would have wanted to have kept Padme away from Obi-Wan's smooth song stylings!

    LOL! :D

Well you know, DB, this is what "Anakin" had to say about seeing "Obi-Wan" in Moulin Rouge:

He's a fine actor! Really, really awesome in Moulin Rouge, to play that constant sense of elation, and just being in awe of love. That's such a hard thing to play, and not look like a total dork in the process. --The Sunday Herald, April 7 2002

It's a shame that, as usual, he didn't follow his master's lead. ;)

Okay, I get censored for starting a thread on "So will Dooku reveal his other weapon in Episode III - The Golden Gun" yet this thread remains in existence!!!

How is that for fair justice???

    :D

Yeah, the real "Anakin" probably would have thought "Obi-Wan" looked like a total dork. LOL!

::Hangs his head in embarrassment:: My master is SUCH a dork::rollseyes::

The greatest thing you'll ever learn is to love and be loved in return. Maybe the Jedi should adopt this attitude. ;)

Anakin could have sung El Tango De Roxanne while killing Tuskins...

*Anakin watches Obi Wan's old home movies*

    Anakin: Master...

Obi Wan: Yes...OHMIFORCE....where did you find those?

Anakin: Behind the book shelves. Yeah there's some questions I have.

    Obi Wan: Oh Force...

Anakin: Yeah I'm getting censored for marrying Padme Amidala right?

    Obi Wan: Yes Anakin.

Anakin: Yeah and you and the street walker...

Obi Wan: It was "lady of the evening" and her name was Satine!

Anakin: Right, get busy with you being my master

Obi Wan: Qui Gon was away for a while on Jedi Business so he dropped me off in on distant galactic world with a fake identity....

Anakin: Stay on subject master...Jedi know no emotion.

    Obi Wan: Yes I..I...

    Anakin: YOU SANG MASTER

    Obi Wan: Maybe I did.

Anakin: Ugh.....I must admit that was a damn fine woman.

Obi Wan: Yeah, odd thing for short guys she kept bringing up though

After Anakin watches more of Obi-Wan's old home movies:

"You sure like to get naked a lot, don't you?

Also, that time you climbed into a toilet and went for a swim...Is that why you're so opposed to death sticks, Master?"

Oh my god, I can so see Yoda as the Magical Sitar Player. LOL!!

Or is that the "Magical Sitar Playa". ;)

{reality for a moment: Skywalk, Moulin Rouge is a film Ewan McGregor was in last year with Nicole Kidman--it was a musical, actually if you click my signature where it says "Moulin Rouge outtake", you can see a brief QuickTime clip of Ewan and Nicole kidding around behind the scenes singing "Your Song" :) )
