Would the JCC be fine without Tums?

    Before I got achalasia (the opposite of GERD), I would sometimes take runs to helps with occasional heartburn.

    Would the JCC as a whole be okay if we had to rely on other antacids? Zantac works well but it's not the same instant relief.

    Pepto Bismol makes me nauseous.
