I'm not super against it but I'd like to see Rey do a double sided in yellow or orange.

    Bring back the Jedi Sentinel!

I always thought it would be a good idea if Darksiders would use Yellow Blades besides the usual Crimson Red ones.

Jedi temple guards have yellow lightsabers in TCW. I find yellow lightsabers sexy, they look very nice. It's a shame they were not used for the Knights of Ren but maybe one day they will make a debut.

No. Star Wars designs work best when they are simple. Christmas tree light sabers not wanted.

Yes. The darksaber was one of my favorite new design concepts in TCW.

Yeah the Darksaber is a great design, I wish some Merc will use it in the new Movies.

There needs to be a solid reason for such a lightsaber to exist, but I would like it.

Constructing one's own lightsaber has always been an integral part of an individual's path to becoming a jedi. Lightsabers are deeply connected to the force and align themselves to their makers in a similar way to wands in Harry Potter, so I feel that Rey needs to make her own weapon at some point in the trilogy.

Not a double bladed one. I'd be fine with a dual phase like Corran Horn's, maybe a yellow/blue one? Or a modification of Anakin's saber with an additional blade setting. That would fit with the first Kenner Luke, which had a yellow saber.

Would absolutely love to see Rey making a double bladed saber out of Luke's green and blue sabers.

Maybe the stick she carries is already a double bladed lightsabre but she does not know yet

What happened to Vader's red lightsaber? Does Luke have that? I could see Rey combining the red and blue sabers into a staff like double sided saber.

It was already done during the early concept phases of the force awakens art. One of the earliest things that the designers had to play off theme fire and ice. It's in the art of the force awakening book . I think it's in one of the first few pages as well.

I'm alright with some new colors, although it would feel pretty "fake" at this point, if that even makes sense.

Pretty sure it fell into the shaft on DS2 when Luke chopped his Dad's hand off. That doesn't mean it's gone of course.

If it survived, and I can see it falling to Endor in the explosion (miraculously undamaged), then I think it will end up with Kylo Ren in 8. His current lightsabre is a metaphor for his own skills and character - incomplete, raw, flawed. When his training is complete, Snoke will present the Vader sabre to Kylo Ren as a symbol of the completion of his dark side training.

What we then get is Anakin's and Vader's sabres fighting it out for Vader's legacy.

A fluctuating saber, perhaps another attempt to build one. It fluctuates red and blue. That might be ok.
