Would you be interested in a Star Wars game based on lightsaber dueling, similiar to "Bushido Blade"

That's weird. I was just thinking the exact same thing like two hours ago.

I definitly would if it was a Jedi v Vong game where the jedi used sabers and the Vong used ampistaffs.

 

Actually I was thinking more along the line of only Jedi, the character list would be something like:

Anakin Skywalker
Luke Skywalker
Darth Vader
Obi-Wan Kenobi
Ben Kenobi
Yoda
Mace Windu
Count Dooku
Darth Maul
Qui-Gon Jinn
Other Jedi Council Members
Mara Jade
Solo Kids
Corran Horn
Kyle Katarn

You would be able to unlock secret abilities like using Two Lightsabers at one time or using a double bladed sabre.

Man that would rock, come on Lucasarts read this!

 

Yup, I've been thinking of this for a long time. Toss in destructable enviroments like in DOA on top of that and you would have a pretty sweet game.

I'd like Samuri Showdown style better.

 

Special moves like Luke's Dark Side Pounddown (ala ROTJ) and Dooku's Force Lightning would be sweet

I considered it Sithman, but I love this TC-14 icon. And the LEC icon is poorly antialiased for this new board colour.

 

This would be a great game, if it was done correctly. It should have two different moves: disabeling and finishing.

I don't know what "Bushido Blade" is but in your character list, you forgot to put in Darth Sidious/Palpatine.

 

Bushido Blade is a fighting game with weapons, but instead of the standard game with a health meter you have to land a killing blow on your opponent. So fights can go VERY fast if you don't block or dodge good.

I say yes. Bushido Blade is one of the best fight games around, very realistic and you can just waste hours dicking around. And some of those moves - whew! - are just unblockable.

1. It shouldnt be one on one, unless the player chooses it. There should be minor Non Playable Characters through out, that cannot kill you but can slow you down or injure you. E.g. Geonosis arena, while you have a duel, the occasional Geonasion comes within range. They cant kill you, but they can whack you with their staffs or fly into you, etc.
2. Itd be cool, but almost impossible... if there was a survival mode where you were pitted against every Sith lord throughout history until Palpatine...there should also be the clone Palpatine as a secret character as in Dark Empire
3. Create a character mode. I dont have to say anything bout this. Anybody got more ideas?

 

I love the idea. You would have to have the ability to dismember your opponent. You know, like you choose to take an arm or a leg off to win the fight. Thus this could also lead to beheadings as well.

This gives you a chance to fight again if it is you that this happens too.
