ST Would you like a movie / trilogy focused on the pre-vii years with Luke, Ben and the academy?

I wonder if this is Rian's new trilogy? Killing Luke in VIII makes it something we want more, perhaps?

 

No, I wouldn’t wanna see that. I’m a huge Kylo Ren fan and just don’t think it’s necessary. It’s a total rehash of the PT. I think the RJ trilogy is something completely unrelated to another story arc we’ve seen. Maybe we’ll get cameos from characters we know, but the focus won’t be them.

 

Keep RJ away from Luke at all costs I'd say. However I like the idea as I have often thought that made for a more interesting story. But its technically undeliverable at this point in time. I don't think TLJ sets up a desire to see more of Luke in anyway. If it was its an even larger misfire than I imagined possible.

 

I think one Luke anthology film set between ROTJ and TFA with Sebastian Stan bearded up as Luke could work... Perhaps the final Rebellion vs empire battle on Jakku??
