Rogue One, on the other hand, will not feature Lando because he has no connection to the rebels prior to ESB.

 

Errr.....watch Rebels and see him.

Lando has no connection with the cell commanded by Mothma and Dodonna.

 

I think he'll appear in the Han Solo movie. Maybe even ep 8 too, maybe hes still a general or hes retired to run another company (wasn't that what happened in one of the old EU novels)?

There could be reference to Lando if there is a direct reference to Kanan's Rebel Cell, or it may be as simple as a character says something like "the new Baron-Administrator of Bespin's Cloud City has indicated he isn't as loyal to the Empire as he'd like it to appear". It's a fun way to make reference to Lando and set him up even better for TESB.

 

I had to sit thru all that nonsense just to see Lando! Acutally it was kinda neat to see Bala Tik & Kanjiklub. But still, it took forever just to see Lando.
Btw, was that really Billy Dee doing the voice? or a voice actor who sounds like Billy Dee?
