Hard choice, but I really love books, so I went with that.
I have to go with the music. I can't live without music and if I had everything I would always have a chance to hear something new. With books, I'm usually very happy rereading the same book several times. But I would hardly ever pass up the chance to hear a new piece of music.
I had to go with music for obvious reasons. Anything to get a head up on the competition.
I already have enough music, and it free to download whereas books are costly

Every Book, I will look intelligent and Rich!
Books give you knowledge. Give me books.
All the music, by far. Not to say that I don't love reading, but music is almost as important as breathing to me.
Definitely books. I read a lot. I like books a lot. I can't live without them.
I can't express the effect music has on me...when I listen to it...I feel like my soul is being wrapped in the most wonderful feeling imaginable...like love is washing over me...like the world is a sea of euphoria and beauty...like everything is right and pure...like my spirit is being expressed in a way that no spoken language could ever explain.
Books, hands down. The beauty of the books is that they can conjure the memory of music in your head as you read them too. For example I am re-reading The Stand right now. The first time I read it Purple by Stone Temple Pilots had just come out. I hear their music on every page.
Plus, books are knowledge and knowledge is power.
Simple, what if my CD player went down or something? Or the electricity?
Never have to worry about that with books!
In the vein of what Kessel Runner wrote, books create their own music.
Books. For me, music is just something that's nice in the background when I'm on the computer, or driving. But for me, there's nothing quite like reading a book.
Books. Especially since the question does not preclude me from buying new music. It just says I cannot have all of it.
My thirst for knowledge is never satisfied, and the best source of knowledge is books.
I'd have to go with the books.
As long as I don't have to get rid of the CDs I already have....then books.
Though music is beautiful, books take me to places I could never go.
Hard choice, but it's books that really give me pleasure in reading them, so I'll say books.
Music. It is abstract, it can go beyond words. It can express feelings better, I think.
Also, there is music with words, but no musical book!
