Would You Still Have Watched Star Wars If Luke DID Sleep With Leia?

Back in Ancient days incest relationships with royalty was preferred over someone marrying outside the family. King Tut married his own sister. It may have been acceptable in SW had Lucas done it.

But I don't really know either way. It'd have had to be done for me to know for sure so I'll never know.

I wanted Leia to be with Han the second they first met. There was so much fire there!

There's some yahoo group that explores the sexual fire between Leia and Luke somewhere. In case anyone's intreasted. Jade_Angel pointed it out to me. It was so bizarre and scary!

If Lucas makes anymore chancges to the OT, I think that deep kiss in Empire should be fixed I mean, back then no problem, it was all good fun. Technically he could still get away with it what with the whole 'we didn't know!' thing. But still, how hard would it be to have a CG Leia kiss a CG chewy? It'd make the 'I'd just a soon kiss a wookie line!' more poignant eh?
That, or alter a few lines in RotJ.

In Lucas's original draft of Star Wars, Leia and Luke are reveiled to be brother and sister right away, except Leia turns out to be a minor character in the story (living with him on his farm on Tatooine, along with the Lars's and other siblings).

 

I wanted Han and Leia to be together since I watched ANH the first time because the chemistry between them was so amazing. I probably wouldn't have like it if Luke and Leia slept together even if they weren't brother and sister.

Both times Leia kisses Luke in ESB is when Luke has been hurt and is recovering. When I see this, I think of the line from Back to the Future:

Yes, of course I would still watch Star Wars.

 

Lucas wouldn't and probably couldn't ever do a sexual scene period...afterall these are PG and he's said that he wants to keep it toned down so his own kids could watch it...but moving on to the real question.

I think I would still watch and enjoy Star Wars - although everytime a sexual reference was made or Luke and Leia interacted it would be a major cringe-factor for me. Thank God Lucas didn't do this...

But I doubt I'd be a fan, that'd be just to gross. If it were some parody of star wars and they did that then it'd be kinda funny but still to gross

 

IF Leia and Luke had slept together, than, GL would make the script different. The script will change to Han and Luke are brothers, so the SW story would stay almost the same. So no problem there...
But no Sister and Brother sleeping together!!
