Wow, Parabola seems REALLY unimpressed by The Approaching Storm

I thought TAS was the best of the Prequel era novels I've read(Rogue Planet and Cloak of Deception). I thought it had a pretty good "Star Wars" feel to it and really liked how Foster developed the main characters, Obi-Wan, Anakin, Jedi Master Luminara Undali and Bariss Offee, her padawan. I don't know why so many people seem to be so down on it. I almost didn't buy it thinking it was going to be more of the same old thing, but I thought it was enjoyable.
