Challenge Write by Theme: October 2013 Poll -- Theme chosen!

Mira and I decided to restart this challenge and see who wants to give it a whirl

As we fall in love with our individual fandoms, it's hard to find common ground for a writing challenge. Write by Theme is something to bring us all together because there is only one rule: write something that fits the theme--one element or plot point.

It doesn't matter what fandoms you like, what styles you prefer, what length you achieve. There are no prizes, no voting, no limits. Just write!

And how do we decide on a theme? We all choose together! Each month, we'll have a week to vote on which theme we want, and the remainder of the month is for writing! I chose the first round of themes, but please feel free to submit your own for future months.
