And he was branded as one of the "Bad Guys" of wrestling. But did you all see the match he had with Undertaker that last Pay-Per_view? That was some funny stuff! He doesn't even do the Spinerooney that much anymore!

I'm from Louisiana originally, so the wrestling that I saw on TV in the mid-to-late 70's might be different from what some of you guys watched. Does the Junkyard Dog ring a bell with any of you? He died a few years ago, but I remember loving that guy when I was a little kid. Perhaps I just found it amusing that a grown man would walk out into the ring with with a dog collar on.

I also remember Rowdy Roddy Piper and Rick Flair from those days, as well. I would know that my dad had turned the channel to wrestling when I could hear Queen's "We Are The Champions" emanating from the TV in the living room.

 

Ric Flair is still the man.

I was born and raised in Louisiana. I've lived in Atlanta for about 8 years. And while I do love Atlanta, I do miss Louisiana cooking.

 

Just once in my time I would LOVE to have some AUTHENTIC Cajun food. Maybe one day.
