They don't do enough tournaments, especially with no more King of the Ring.

 

I agree 100% with all of that but maybe this tournament is a baby step toward those things.

 

I love the idea of Sheamus wandering around K-Marts and Toys R Us stores in only his tights, so absurd.

 

It's an 8 man tourney with guys like Cesaro, RVD, Del Rio, etc.,

In the middle of a pile of crap, that is the John Cena people can't stand. Props to Wyatt for dragging Cena to a decent segment. I love Wyatt doing live promos instead of taped ones, just shows how friggin good he is.

 

I'm sorry, but the Evolution was awesome! The music alone made it great, that's always my WWE 2K music.

Edit: I was happy with how the WWE handled the Warrior tribute segments. Ten bell salute, most of the segments relatively short, all of them respectful, and thankfully, not used to tie into the current storylines. Overall, I think the WWE handled this one just right.

 

Ric Flair is forever tarnished to me after going to the 20th anniversary Raw. He went completely bonkers(of course) and that was in the middle of the unforgivable act of him mentoring the Miz.

 

To be fair, unlike Undertaker's Streak, that was likely WWE's call to have Flair 'mentor' the Miz as opposed to Flair himself, as WWE was still trying to salvage Miz's inexplicable 'face' turn at that point.

I was expecting Evolution to come out after the Shield, so hearing Del Rio's music was a MASSIVE let down.

 

It would have been predictable if they came out first, instead of going the opposite route.

 

So apparently with AJ being 'injured' it'll be Paige vs Tamina for the Diva's Championship at Extreme Rules.

I think this SHOULD actually be a really good thing for the Shield. If they beat Evolution that is a pretty big deal, but now the other two guys in Evolution have had acclaimed careers just like HHH, instead of it being HHH and two young guys.

ROH to debut on traditional live PPV in June.

Hmm... a ROH PPV titled The Best in the World... Punk's WWE contract runs out around June/July.... Punk's always had positive comments about ROH.... Hmmmm....

 

I think it's July that Punk's contract expires, and there is that Jarrett clause that WWE has in there contracts with the talent. So we will likely not see him for a long while Unless he comes back.

I think the no - compete clause only goes into play if they are actually released. WWE's choosing to ride Punk's contract out rather than release him outright, so come to July, Punk could be a very sought after free agent if he wants to come back to wrestling then.

I don't know, wasn't the issue that brought about the clause was Jarrett jumping ship back and forth after his contract expired? I would think either way WWE would cover all bases, but it could just be release based only.
