i watched one of his a couple years ago where he was talking about the Attitude Era. He was absolutely ranting about Shawn Michaels, and i'm thinking 'dude, that was 15 years ago'

SO the show with John Morrison vs. Alberto Del Rio I was going to this Friday was cancelled. I am extremely angry and disappointed.

 

No more insidious Taz commentary?

I've just been reading up about it at the tna rumour mill and it looks like the late payments is to do with the TNA's parent company moving offices rather than the company going broke. Fingers crossed.

Al Snow might be a very good replacement. Borash would do, anything would be better than Josh Matthews on his own. I also cannot see Taz enjoying Josh's company, Matthews is a crap commentator and doesn't seem to know what his role is in terms of colour or play by play, being ignorant or being knowledgeable... Which kind of clashes with Taz's style.

I watched a free TNA PPV tonight, it was pretty good (though as usual it was broadcast out of sync with the plot of Impact, damn it D'Lo) but I miss Tennay and Taz just taking the piss. Good use of rubber chickens and gummy bears.

You know Cole and Taz were a pretty good tandem on Smackdown....

 

I don't think WWE would want Taz back. Not as a full time commentator anyway.

 

Better than a lot of the commentators they have now.

 

Zombie Art Donovan would be better than the commentators they have now.

 

Another Cornette interview, because I think it mirrors a certain WWE situation right now: One of the few where Corny doesn't drop a ton of f-bombs.

He regained ownership of OVW sometime ago I believe.

 

Kevin Nash is another one. I listened to Austin's podcast with him. He 's supposed to have a genius IQ, but he can't say a sentence without "We F-n did this, then we F-n did that."

 

Yeah, but on a positive note they told me they're going to give me replacement tickets for they're Wrestling Under the Stars event for this summer with no up charge, so there is a bit of a silver lining, as they are still announcing names that will be there and it has a good list already.

Can't say I'm surprised with the concussion lawsuits filed against them. Probably why Orton hasn't just gone a head and punt kicked the weasel.

 

that's surprising. as if Lesnar giving someone 10 suplex's in a match couldn't result in some neck or head problems?

 

A Suplex isn't as blantently obvious as a kick to the head is.

 

But it's not really a kick to the head, unless it goes wrong...

I'm going to cynically hope this is a work. If the move is banned it makes it all the more exciting when it's used.
