Miz was a reality TV star before WWE. He knows how the system works.

Yeah, pretty much. Still would have prefered someone like Foley or Hart.

Well, both my top picks to win, Patrick and Mada, are gone. I'm not too bothered though. The winner of TE rarely does anything major in the WWE. It seems like the runners up have the better chance of an eventual contract.

Sorry, I had a look at my usual places but there's nothing listed for this year's one. How much is the ippv fee?

    Not sure.

My usual spot is only showing the US Axes TV show (which only shows bits from G1 Cup) - last year, the whole thing was up.

The word icon in thrown around a lot in the world of wrestling. Piper was one of the men who deserves the distinction and title though. For me, he was the first guy that made bad guys look cool. Piper was attitude before it was an era, he was the bad guy before Razor Ramon, and possibly the greatest performer to never hold the WWF World Championship.

So many moments to remember him by, smashing the coconut over Jimmy Snuka's head, spraying Morton Downey with the fire extinguisher. I also remember his Wrestlemania 12 street fight with Goldust.(how do you lose that much, Golddust!? You had the car!)

He was always a professional about it though, a testament to how much he actually contributed to the business.

RIP Hot Rod! Damn....the years I spent watching Piper's Pit...and him constantly upstaging Hogan....best years of my childhood. That and his movies....They Live is a classic.

Legendary Performer, Amazing Talent, and an Amazing Human Being with an incredible life story. I'm gonna miss him.

Just got back from the local show. It was awesome.

Here's Samoa Joe. Didn't get to get his autograph because they ran out of pictures...which was really annoying.

Here's me with Mandy Leon. She was really cool. Loved my shirt. And apparently as of 5 minutes ago
    follows me on twitter.

Here we are with Rey Mysterio.

Here I am with my little brother and Ric Flair. Wish they had waited until we were ready for the picture. Also, Flair was a bit of a jerk, I asked him if he could make the autograph out to Rich, which he ignored(despite personalizing my friends for them) then I went to go shake his hand and thank him for coming out and he seemed like he couldn't be bothered. He did shake my hand and I am still glad I met him, it was just a bit of a disappointment given he seemed like he couldn't be bothered.

Ric Flair in the ring. I had awesome seats.

I got autographs from Matt Hardy, Alberto Del Rio, Larry Zbyszko, The Young Bucks as well as those I got pictures with.

I would have more pictures, but my camera got fussy and stopped working for most of the night. One of the matches was a falls counts anywhere match and they had a punch fest in front of my seat, as soon as I get it edited I'll post it.

I was saddened when I heard about the death of Roddy Piper on Friday night. Roddy was always one of my favorites. The video tribute was extremely moving, and I loved the use of the bagpipes after the 10 bell salute. If anything, those bagpipes are what really made it sink in that Roddy was gone. We'll never get to see Roddy Piper stroll down to the ring, those bagpipes playing and the crowd going nuts...ever again. It's just really hard to believe.

    RIP Hot Rod
