I mean, we knew it was coming. Would grind things to a halt having to wait between PPVs with just one major belt - still need IC and USA for mid-tier talent.

Best booked RAW in years. Loving the new layout; nice to see Cole actually acknowledge the background of Balor prior to WWE. Really happy to see Sasha win the big one - preferred it at SS, but I'll take this.

Balor v Rollins is going to be money.

Didn't get to watch all of RAW, mostly the first hour. But I actually did like what I saw. I liked the little promo vid for Nia Jax. Liked the squash matches.

I did watch the Charlotte vs Sasha match on Dailymotion. Pretty great. Loved the realistic start with the announcing of the competitors,and l really loved Saxon doing the interview INSIDE THE RING, and not having it in the back. Felt realistic.

The more realism the better.

I'm glad about that.

Smackdown will be interesting tonight; lots of theories flying around about Styles v Cena in no.1 contenders match or Styles winning the title. Meltzer last night commented the plans post-SummerSlam are Orton v heel Styles - with Randolph being the main face on Smackdown. At some point, then, the title is going to Styles.

I maintain that AJ needs to improve.

Edit - Perhaps moving back to a lone wolf will do wonders for him. Perhaps it's just been my distaste for this most recent iteration of The Club.

One *BIG* concern about Smackdown is the lack of upper midcard talent - RAW is stacked for options. Btw, Cena won't be at the Blacklash PPV after SummerSlam, speculation AJ Styles will go over.

Note on Styles: I'm tired of fans bitchin'. WWE have treated him so well and given him nothing but respect. Post-Mania, he has been in the main event scene all the time and feuded with the top stars at WWE. He's in Vince's top 4 guys; some fans need to get over themselves.
