Just created a site called fi-sci.net which will cover all science fiction from star wars to the matrix

Still looking for people to help me with it, if you have any suggestions or comments, go ahead.

Ive still got some housekeeping to do and update the content but you get a good idea of it anyways.

 

The blurry letters gave me an immediate headache, but I like the layout.

 

That's good, seen as how darthevilbob keeps changing it over and over again. Maybe the next change will be the last!

 

The new site layout is up. It still needs a few tweaks here and there, but we are happy with the design for right now. So, check us out at Fi-Sci.Net.

 

Also if anyone is interested in working on the site, you dont have to know HTML/PHP or anything. I need people to write articles/reviews/news just give me a bell on darthevilbob@fi-sci.net

 

All the bandwith was used up for the month The site will be opened again on September 1st.

 

SItes back up, and ive put up a new template, i really like it! and i may keep it. In fact all the fun ive had making the headers i may never stop. See how many you can spot.

how come no one ever makes comments, or says anything when i post up a website? Yet, lots of Forum type websites which really, basically all do the same thing get hundreds of replies? At least im trying to do something a little different, even though not revolutionary, I admit!

Im not bitter though...

Really all i want is feedback and more importantly critiscm, Or what you would like to see on the site..

 

Yes, no one ever posts anything in my "Alternative Saga" thread either! I mean, who else out there is writing an Alternative Saga? That's right! No one! Me....

Hey guys come and look at my brand new star wars forum made in HTML it is very good like my html skills.

I have of made a good banner using mspaint! and copied around edges of many star wars characters to make lovely collage!

 

Ignore them, Mike. Just think about the 10,000+ hits we got in August. Remember, there are really only 3 people (me, Bacon, YodaJeff) that post in here on a regular basis. If you don't get a lot of people posting in here, don't feel bad. The same thing has happened to me. Hell! Our sites are the two best sites posted on this board!

 

I think people would post more if this forum actually had its own banner and color scheme, there were a couple more things to do besides just review other sites, and if we had a couple more regular posters.

Anyways, I love the site. Awesome layout and alot of stuff to do.

Maybe I could make socks and advertise weird forums I'm not even apart of to make it look like this forum is busy so we'll get somemore posters?!

 

I absolutely agree. We need social threads, contests, discussion threads, etc. AND AN ORIGINAL COLOR SCHEME! This black and grey and blue is driving me insane...

BTW, I was joking about the sock thing.

It'd be nice if you also had like a magazine thingy that updated once a week or something with a list of current events happening in Fan Sites and like a fan site of the week in there or something.

 

And an official Fan Site Directory Thread where all fan sites are listed with the ads but no replies to them?

Like the classifieds or something...

Have you thought of dividing it even more with like a reply for a fanfiction site, a reply for RPing site, a reply for fan art sites, etc. like this:
