X-Men 2

I've been waiting for this sequel for alomst two years. It's finally out on May 2nd (I think). Who wants to go?

 

I'll go. I'm sure Tom would go too.

 

I'll still be up here in Oshkosh. Depending on what day it is and my work schedule, maybe I can come down. I've been looking forward to X2 for a while.

 

I'm in for sure. Loved the first one, so I'm hoping I'll love this one too...

I was thinking we'd have a better chance of going to a Saturday or Sunday matinee. And it would be cheaper. I know I won't be able to make the Friday night opening as I have to work. Does this work for others?

 

I'd love to see it, but that weekend only Opening Night would work. I've got friends throwing a party on that Saturday, and that Sunday I'm playing in a concert with my civic band.

Marcy and I can go as long as it isn't on Friday, so a Saturday or Sunday showing would be great for us.

A weekend would be great for us. We're all about spending less money right now.

 

As per the chatting at the Hockey Game, we're looking at May 3rd for the XMen however, we're still debating whether or not we want to go to the Ultra Screen. Most of us aren't willing to stand in line so possibly the Ridge unless someone has a better theater in mind.

Also we're looking at a very early showing (Catie would rather go see a movie with older folks and deal with less Yappity Yap during the film and I agree with her wholeheartedly). So, anyone able to do that date or wants to solidfy a theater speak up.

If by "very early" you mean during the early afternoon, I am out unless its a weekend.

Yes, after reading the post again I did see the actual date. I also gathered that I was probably just insulted by the TB comment, but until I know what it means I'm afraid I cannot respond.

Marcy - please articulate your insults more eloquently (sp?) in the future.

I want to go!!!!!!! What's the plan? I've been waiting forever for this too!

 

Plan. Okay. I've been mulling over this one for a while, and I'm thinking Sunday afternoon, say, 1ish - 3ish, Ultrascreen in Waukesha. I don't know exactly when the Ultrascreen is showing around those times, but I'm pretty open. I'm willing to go pick up tickets for anyone who wants them to guarantee everyone a ticket. Maybe we could hit the Chili's or Perkins after the film.

So, if this is cool with you guys, give me a number and I'll try to get the tics by Wednesday, if I am allowed to purchase them that early.

Am not sure which theater I'm going to yet for X-Men. Who is going where and at what time? Is anyone ordering tickets online? I'm going to the early screening of Matrix on May 1st. May 2nd is the opening of X-Men--what times are they showing at right now?

 

I can't make it, gang. I have to work and I can't make it down to Milwaukee that day. *sigh* Enjoy the movie.
