I took the liberty to start a new thread. I would love to see it at midnight at AMC 30 gulf freeway(?)with a group.

Are they even gonna have midnight screenings for this?

 

I watched X-Men last nite, just to get me in the mental state of X2.....

I can't wait...

I'll probably be seeing it Friday night between 10-11 PM at the Edwards Marquee on I-10. Anyone else heading there that night?

 

For those who are curious, here are the three listings of midnight showings (Thursday night/Friday Morning) for X2 that I found online:

AMC Gulf Pointe 30
AMC Studio 30
Loews Cineplex Fountains Theatre

Looks like the two AMC theaters are sold out. You might give them a call if you're interested. Often, they'll add theaters.

 

I'll probably go see it after I get off work Friday or Saturday afternoon.

 

Also, for those going to the convention this weekend, remember the hotel by the Edwards theater on I-10 and 610, in case anyone would like to get together and see X-Men then.

 

I used my X-Men 1.5 ticket here in Waco, so I can imagine that you can use yours

It was excellent.

A favor, let's not post spoilers on the movie until Sunday evening. Let's let everyone have a chance to view it this weekend before we start discussing plot points.

 

Very good movie. Much better than the first.

 

Damn good flick. Definitely better than the first one, although Superman I & II and Unbreakable are still my favorite superhero movies.

The last 30 minutes dragged a bit and the ending was just a little too derivative of Wrath of Khan, but otherwise it was a great start to the summer movie season. Can't wait for X3(X-Men Un-united?).

 

I have to agree, it was a good movie. Magneto is the man!
