It has been suggested by members of the NBO Leadership that we "camp out" at Edwards a few days before X3. We could even tell the managment we were staying there a whole year for the Rerelease of the Saga. Thoughts and suggestions?

I love x-men and plan on seeing the midnight showing
but I'm not so sure I could do a campout for it
thats reserved for Star Wars movies, conventions, etc
    *shrug*

There are no more new SW movies to do this for, so why not X3?

schedual, life in general, work, and a lack of enthusasum(sp?)
that and the fact I live in Mountain Home atm
    I dunno
    I just can't get into X3 enough for a campout I guess

    now Spiderman 3 I might

    I dunno
I'm excited bout X3 and all and plan on seeing the midnight showing
but I can't see myself camping out for it

The Greywolf Station was planning something for the release of X3 but we wern't planning anything like this, we were going to dress up and go for the opening day, and come back a different day to watch the movie, considering my roommate is a bit clostrophobic (SP?).

I wouldn't mind coming for the camp out.

It would be cool to trick people but whatever is cool with me.

I'll do it just to see the look on Frank's (Edwards Manager) face when he see's tents outside his theater and no SW movie in sight.

So I think we've decided to just bag this event as far as a campout is concerned, but we're all definatley still going, most of us in costume, so dress up!
    Ron, you should be Juggernaut!

We will discuss the campout at the meeting, but I think everyone wants to do it for Pirates instead.

So, if we aren't camping for it, are a group of us still going to the midnight showing? I really would like to see it that way, but It'd be nice if we all went as a group for that.

I was told that as of now (and it is always subject to change) that the Majestic IS NOT having a midnight showing. Edwards is selling tickets for midnight shows now...do we want to see it at Edwards?

I'll be there, but if no one's going to camp, I'll probably just show up around 10 or 11.

This movie was an embarrassment to the name of X-men. Look for my blog of it on myspace soon.

    What a disappointment...

The movie wasn't as good as the others, but wasn't that bad IMO.

Unbelievable....this probably will make X Men 4 a reality (I am not sure that is a good thing).

Ok, so I watched it a second time and liked it a LOT more.
I will get a blog up eventually. Sorry if I complained so much, it just wasn't what I had expected.

Saw it again one last time, and while I enjoy it..."some," I still hold to most of what I said originally.

I'm interested to see what you guys think.

Funny I saw it again recently and liked it even more. It is better than the first, not quite as good as the second.

What makes you like it better than the first film just our of curiousity?

More action, the first was very character intro heavy. I agree with alot of your points (nightcrawler, Magneto, "The Last Stand"). I am with you in hoping that Singer will make another film. I like all three films alot though.

True, but at least the characters in one were developed, unlike all of the new entries to 3.

That to me, makes 1 a better picture, because we can invest in the characters on some level.

Why invest in them? In this franchise they tend to get rid of characters (Nightcrawler) very quickly and without explanation.
