Welcome to X-men: Divided, an RPG where mutants are forced to fight against other mutants in order to survive. I'm your local Game Master, ?Lord-Vader- and will guide you as the game progresses.

This was originally going to be a private Hooper McFinnley?s B&G activity, but it was quickly expanded into a full RPG. You don?t need a wide knowledge of X-Men, but you need some. There are many in here that can help you out when needed.

The Story:

Magneto, the most powerful mutant in the entire world, has created Asteroid M ? a sanctuary for mutants that seek freedom from Homo sapiens oppression and racism?and has invited all mutants from far and wide to come to this haven in orbit above Earth. Many have come, including the infamous X-men, in hope of living in peace without worrying about Sentinels or Mutant Watch Task Forces.

But something has gone wrong on Asteroid M. Mr. Sinister has unleashed a bio agent into the ventilation system that has caused all of the mutants to fight each other to the last mutant. Working with the sinister geneticist, an Acolyte has activated the self-destruct mechanism that will result in the destruction of the asteroid once the experiment is over with. It is a survival of the fittest and only the strong will survive to be used in Mr. Sinister?s nefarious genetic experiments.

The Rules

1. No God Moding
2. Controlling another?s character is prohibited.
3. Posting damage for another?s character is prohibited.
4. When in an inescapable situation that will result in your character?s death, you will die.
5. The Game Master is always right.
6. If you abuse your abilities, you will be spanked and result in a 24 hour ability ban. Meaning you can?t use your powers during that time. Break the rule again; it will be 48 hours.
7. Someone must win by the end of the week, or everyone dies.
8. Only one mutant per player
9. Must be a character from the X-Men comics or TV shows.
10. You must be committed, or you may not play.
11. You must pass your character through me first, unless you are on the list below.
12. Most important of all, have fun!

Appearence: Dark brown hair, normal clothes aka shirt and jeans, has a lighter in his pocket. Also has blue eyes and is 5'9" tall.

Appearance: White skin, red eyes, clean cut jet black hair, red diamond on forehead, and black goutee. Uniform is an all black or silver and blue metallic uniform with a large red diamond on the chest. Cape is all black on the outside, red inside with a large hood that only covers the back of the head, cape is also stripped .

Asteroid M:


The mutants that had received Magneto's invitation and come to Asteroid M were all assembled in a large meeting area.

"Greetings to all of you. You all have come a long way to be with people of our own kind." Magneto levitated a metal plate holding several glasses of champaign on it into the crowd of mutants for them to take. "The humans have crossed the line this time by staging attacks on us. If they do this one more time, I will be forced to retaliate!" Magneto pointed to a screen that showed several nuclear missiles being placed in launch tubes. "You all are welcome to stay for as long as you like here." Magneto said as he looked from person to person in the room. "We all should be safe here since the humans have no way of reaching us....." Magneto stopped talking because he saw some kind of smoke coming out of the ventilation shafts. He lifted his hand swiftly and levitated metal wall tiles in front of the shafts to stop the smoke from coming into the room. Unfortunatly, enough of the smoke had come in to infect all of the mutants in the room.

The battle began.

Nightcrawler sat along the wall literally as he listened to Magneto give his speech and greet all the mutants that had come to seek sanctuary from the oppressing humans. He had his fair share of human abuse in his time.

After the circus humans had mocked and jeered at him. Calling him many spiteful names that hurt him to the core. If it had not been his faith in the Lord he would no doubt have ended up like many of the mutants. A creature gone on a killing rampage to sooth the hurt feelings and rage he felt toward the humans.

It was the Lord and the faith he felt in the Lord that kept him sane and sensible in these tribulant times. Kurt Wagner picked off one of the fruits from the floating metal tray as it passed near him. He quietly nibbled on it as he listened to Magneto.

He barely noticed the trickle of some kind of gas into the room. It looked like smoke but it did not smell like smoke. Then something funny and strange began to happen to him. He suddenly felt the urge to want to survive and fear anything that was alive and moved.

Glancing around for the source of this feeling he only saw mutants. Lots of mutants and they were beginning to look aggressive toward him. He did the only thing he could to get away from the hostility that was quickly spreading through the entire room.

He disappeared in a blueish-purple smoke that smelled of sulfur.

Appearance: Brown hair, brown eyes, thin build

Beast looked around the room. All the mutants were in the building. Whether X-Men, like Wolverine, Cyclops, or Jean Grey and Beast himself, or Brotherhood, like Mystique and Magneto himself, the X-Men's sworn enemy. He felt surprised the Professor even thought about coming here. All of a sudden, a rage came upon him, a rage never felt by him since he became a mutant. There was a strange gas coming through the wall. Magneto! Beast thought. Beast thought about attcking him on the spot! Bit soon he realized he was too dangerous.

Nightcrawler is my sock and he has already left the room.

Pyro stood listening to Magneto's little speech, but really was shifting from side to side. He wanted to burn something, to see the hot flame of fire rage up before him, to control the flame to amaze, to frighten the other mutants...just then he saw smoke coming out of a shaft but didn't smell it. "Odd..." he said. Just then he felt a bloody rage come through, but it didn't matter...that rage was already inside before. He looked around to see who he could turn into a barbecue and spotted Shadowcat. "Here kitty, kitty, kitty," he beckoned mockingly.

BAMF!

The blueish-purple smoke swirled around the German mutant after he reappeared in a corridor that was a couple down from where the gathering of mutants had been held. His devil's tail flicked back and forth in anticipation.

"Gott im Himmel!" He muttered under his breath.

Something had gone terribly wrong and all of the mutants were now attacking each other. Nightcrawler did not want to get into the fray, not with so many mutants massed together. He would rather attack them individually and in a secluded area instead. There he would know he had a chance at surviving the rage and bloodlust that was sweeping the place.

The blue demon looking mutant looked around cautiously for any stray mutants nearby as he attached himself to the ceiling and began crawling along it, passing light fixtures as he went and smashing them out when he passed them. He sent the corridor into darkness and waited for the first victim to come.

Code Name: Gambit
Gender: Male
Mutant Ability: Makes anything he touches become a flying incindiary/high explosive weapon
Appearance: Taller man with red hair. Talks with French/louisianian Accent. Wears long tan trench coat over his black and red chest protector and black pants.

"Lets get this show on the road Mon a mi."


He had no clue as to what was happening, but he knew it was not going to be pretty. Grabbing a 7 of Diamonds, Gambit focused himself, and prepaired for the worst.

Gladiator's self-control and restraint drained out of him more and more with each breath of the gas.

Enemies! Enemies everywhere! NO!

Now lacking all control over his actions, Gladiator approached the nearest mutant: a short humanoid playing with a lighter. He clenched his left fist as tight as he could, then, without thinking, swung out at the mutant's head.

Tired of waiting for the mutants to come flooding out of the area and wander into the darkened corridor, Kurt Wagner dropped to the ground and sighed.

"If zey do not come to you, zen you make zem." He said to himself and then disappeared once again. A few seconds later he reappears where he had been last and attaches himself to the wall.

Looking around at the coming chaos he spots a mutant that looks easy enough to defeat. Crawling along the ceiling over to the trenched coat human with the playing card, Nightcrawler smiles devilishly and drops down ontop of him.

Grabbing onto the mutant, they both disappear. In their wake is a disipating cloud of blueish-purple sulfur smelling smoke.

Pyro kept his beckoning going while playing with his lighter, next thing he knew he spotted Gladiator sending a fist into his face. He went flying and hit a wall, nearly knocked out, but he regained himself, stood up and used the lighter to cause a spark...at that moment the spark belonged to him. In an instant Pyro made the tiny spark rage into a burning inferno in his left hand, putting away his lighter he focused on Gladiator, quickly he made two flames and shot one fireball the size of a car at him and made the other flame turn into a fire bird, but he didn't make the firebird attack just yet...
OOC:Good move 6-6-6! Didn't see that coming.

IC as Gambit

In a flash, he was somewhere else. But where? It seemed like he still inside the academy, and soon realized that he was in a cooridore not far away. On the ceiling above him, he saw who was there.

"You picked the wrong Frenchman you blue faced goon."

Grabbing hold of the card he almost dropped ealier from his coat sleeve, gambit charged it up, and whipped the card twards the mutant.

"Eat fire my crepe suzette."

Nightcrawler tilted his head at the Frenchman. Germans versus French again? "Bumsenko..." He was cut off at the sight of a glowing card heading his way.

He was gone before the card impacted and blackened the ceiling. The next thing Gambit knew something was behind him and kicking at his back.

IC as Gambit

Not knowing where the german went, he was suddenly startled by a poof noize behind him, and then a swift kick in the back. Rolling forward, Gambit bounced of the wall of the corridor, and looked back at the mutant. Grabbing for a peice of the broken lamp fixtures, he quickly charged it and released it at Nightcrawler.

"Ugh...that will teach you lousey germans to pick on the French!"
