IC: Wolverine Wolverine stood silently with his arm folded across his chest and his mask pulled over his face. He watched as Magneto began to speak of the oppression of mutants from humanity. He smirked inwardly. Magneto had a point, but it was at this point nothing more than an elongated ramble. As one of the trays floated by, Wolverine extended one of his hands and quickly snatched a glass of champagne from it. He twirled it around in a circular motion as he brought it up under his nose. Detecting the lack of any smell indicating a toxin within, he took a sip of it and continued to watch. ?If they do this one more time, I will be forced to retaliate!" As Magneto spoke, he gestured back to an image on the Monitor. Wolverine, surprised at the image on the screen glanced around to see the reaction of the others in the room. Most of them shared his apparent view of surprise, while some of the more bloodthirsty ones were merely smirking. Was Magneto truly this insane? He may have a point about the oppression, but this was a totally illogical and wrong approach to dealing with such a matter. Certainly Magneto would realize he was acting in the same fashion as the dictator that ruled over his childhood in Germany? Wolverine was about to speak up, and voice in his gruff voice his opinion as he normally would, when something caught his sense of smell. It was faint, but it still stood out in a room that until this point had been nothing but recycled ventilation air. He quickly took a breath, and than turned to leave the room. He passed quickly through the crowd, and made his way off into one of the side corridors. He passed through several doors along the way, but it was useless. The Ventilation system was pumping the gas throughout the whole asteroid complex, and before long Wolverine had become subjected to it. With a swift movement, he brought his arms across his chest in a motion forming an X, and than with a minimal amount of pain ejected his claws. A rage of bloodthirsty feeling surged through his mind, and he awaited his first opponent. Tag: Anyone who wants to come and find me.
