SWRPF Archive X-men: Magneto's Revenge (RPG)

Magneto has just been resurrected from his death. There was a huge fight between Charles Xavier and Magneto. Xavier found a way to tap into his mind and suck the life right out of him. He has been resurrected and is out to kill Charles Xavier. Magneto found the X-men's new secret base and attacked their home. Pyro has been very badly wounded. He is in the hospital and Angel has been hurt pretty bad. Magneto has gained a new resurrection mutant body. He looks completely different and has a new power, Power Drain. Pyro's powers have been completely drained. Angel's have only been taken from him a little.

X-men: We start off in the X-mansion. The X-men are surrounding Pyro, who has just been brought out of intensive care. They are devising a plan to get back at Magneto.

Brotherhood: Magneto has just ran into a couple members of the brotherhood. He is recruiting them for his new team. If they pass his tests, they will recieve one new mutanat ability and they will be on his new team.

Rules and Regulations

1. No Bashing. I will not put up with any member being rude, mean, making fun of, or anything of that kind to another member. You will be respectable, or you won't play the game at all.

2. No Socks. I do not want to catch you and you do not want me to cathch you using a sock in my game.

3. You may create your own character or be any one of the original X-men. I would like to have the originals first before you make up any characters, but it really doesn't matter.

4. Your character cannot be invincible and cannot be immune to another character's powers, unless it is in the original character's official profile. Newly created characters cannot be immune.

5. You cannot be Angel or Pyro since they have been injured. They may be healed before the game is over, but at the moment they are forbidden.




Character Bios

Character bios need to include age, gender, mutanat abilities, weapons (if necessary), and a short bio (optional). Here is an example and who I will be in this game:

Let's begin. To start with, post the bio, if I think you are worthy of being on Magneto's team, you will then afterwards recieve one of the new powers. If not, you may still continue the game as an outcast or try and join the X-men.

I have a question...is this RPG using the characters from the original X-Men comics, or those from the movie. There is a very important difference, as I'm sure you know, especially with characters such as Rogue.

Ok...the question actually had more to do with alliances though, because I'm interested in playing Mystique. Should she already have an alliance with Magneto, as in the movie, or should they develop one.

Does Mystique have a real name? Or an age? The only thing about her I can think of is that she raised Rogue in the comics (Rogue calls her "mama"), and is actually Nightcrawlers mother.

If you pass you are in the evil group. If you don't, you can be Outcast or an X-men if they will accept you. That is how this thing works. Yeah, she is...but she's even better in the comics because the movie apparently looks over her connection with both Rogue and Nightcrawler, though the later may just not have realized she's his mother yet!

The movie really did a good job with her powers though.

And yeah to milney, taking the character we needed to have most!
