I'm English, we learn to look past teeth.

And January Jones is what ladies call "attractive, in an obvious sort of way".

Attractive is what it is, obvious or not.

    Sometimes obvious is best.

Not really surprised FOX would pull such a **** move. This is the same studio that screwed Joss over with their meddling in Dollhouse and Firefly.

I don't get the conspiracy angle. I thought Feige said both studios had the rights to use the character.

Yes. But there's apparently a bit more to it. There's some sources that they the studio that uses them first gets them. Then there's also reports that Fox gets the codenames which means Joss can only refer to them as Wanda and Pietro. No idea what the real issues are of course. Only Marvel and Fox know that.

I hope if Cyclops is in it he gets more to do, he seems rather wasted as a character given he was supposed to be the group's leader after Xavier. Plus I don't really rate Marsden that much as an actor.

Hopefully this means his fate in X3 is reversed. I know this was done because he had a role in Superman Returns (further proof that FOX does not like to play along with others at other studios), but that was a really really crappy way for Cyclops to go out.

Depends if it is an alternate reality or not.

Doing that would also fix some of the continuity issues between First Class and the X-Men Trilogy

I thought Dollhouse had low ratings and they allowed him to wrap it up.

The ratings weren't helped by A)bouncing it around various time slots, B)Making Joss reshoot the pilot (thus ending up with offically twelve episodes in S1 instead of 13), C)switching the airing of episodes out of order (this is especially evident with season two) D)Not even airing episodes in one instance (Epitaph One really should have been the true S1 finale instead of Omega; it might have gotten more people interested in S2). There's others, but those points are the ones I remember off the top of my head.

Small blessing and there are some of us who think things got rushed too fast and lead to some OOC stuff as a result (WTF Langton??!). Dollhouse and Firefly are essentially why very few Whedon fans want Joss to work with FOX ever again.

Not to step on any of Juliet's twelve toes, but I thought Dollhouse was a load of crap. And I lurve Joss.

I agree, I tried I really did. It was just a pile of crap. It wasn't watchable.

No I have a normal set of ten toes, thank you for asking.:p

And to each their own. I know Dollhouse and it's themes weren't well - recieved by everybody (and I was uncomfortable with some parts of the show at times), but I loved it. I just wish it had either been on another network or FOX had given it more than two short seasons.

I actually wouldn't mind that, as it gives the characters a deeper relationship with each other. For instance, I think the only person to say "Captain America" in The Avengers was the waitress at the end. Everyone else referred to him as "Captain" (Fury, Coulson), "Captain Rogers" (Stark), or "Steve" (Banner).
