I prefer X-wing Series Fan Club: "Lock S-foils in attack position."

    Ooh, I like both suggestions!

Maybe the Wedge fan club could use 'Lock S-foils'? Since that is Wedge's idea of diplomacy...

Yes, I know it's from Mercy Kill, I just haven't read it yet and thus don't know the meaning there :p Paperback needs to come out sooner!

The scene been pretty well previewed in the "Mercy Kill" excerpt at the tag end of other books.

I agree that the PB versions need to come out sooner, though!

Well, I am kind of irritated by the current direction the universe is being taken in general, so excerpts aren't much use to me at the moment.

My only problem is that I don't want to buy all the paperbacks I have already bought once.

I haven't read any of the recent releases that might have the excerpts. And I don't mind ebooks, but the only ereader we have belongs to my mum. Might get one if I go to Europe, can't lug 50 books with me, after all :p

E-books are fantastic. I didn't think I was going to like them but I adore having the ability to purchase a book without going to the store.

Also those that are waiting the pb for Mercy Kill. Don't. This book is definitely one to splurge on and get it HC.

I would consider reading on my I-pad if I thought the rest of my family would allow me to use it more often. Mercy Kill was worth the pre order price and a vacation day off work to me.

It will look silly next to the paperbacks from the rest of the series if it isn't a paperback.

I like Sey's idea for the new title!

I also gotta agree with her about buying Mercy Kill hardcover, unless you have space issues. It's like a nod to every Wraith Squadron fan out there.

It's at the end of the Scourge PB, plus Apocalypse HB, IIRC. Maybe others too.

I like ebooks, but I wanted books to give out to friends, so I got three hardcovers :)

I did get the 4-novel ebook pack - and was super happy to find out that the Heir to the Empire in that bundle is actually the annotated one! Score!
