    Already read - first time through, anyway! What an excellent book, Allston at his best!

    No, I don't - just grown nephews and nieces! Love them and their children just as if they were mine though!

    I do have a 96 year-old adoptive father that I look after - but he's fairly easy, sleeps most of the time,

    I like how you mention first time through. I want to go back and read Mercy Kill again myself. But there's just so much of the EU I haven't read. I'm jumping around the Clone Wars Era now. About halfway through Yoda Dark Rendezvous. I'm so excited to hear more people have finished Mercy Kill though, as it was a great book and what brought me back to the EU.

    If I haven't got a new book to read, I grab a pre-read SW! Currently Destiny's Way!

    Get well soon Addie! I really want to re-read the NJO, but a 19 book commitment is a bit intimidating. The Stackpole and Allston books in the series really are calling my name though. Is it bad that I,m 100 pages from finishing Yoda Dark Rendezvous and I haven't figured out what all the fuss is about?

    @Runjedirun, @Adalia-Durron

    Just to mention, there is a Special Review thread for Mercy Kill over on the LIT board for readers to rate it out of 10.

    Another reason I need to re-read, so I can give it a proper review.

    You get more out of it the 2nd go around. I often enhale a book the first time I read it. The 2nd time I'll savor it.

    I tried it on earlier, and the overalls fit, thankfully (when I got them they were six sizes too big) and now I've sewn on the patches and altered the sleeves. Only the legs to do on that front. Still a bit more to do to get it done!

    Would love to see a pic of the complete outfit when finished - in Ben Skywalker terms, 'Astral'!

    Yea, sewing is a form of art, I don't do art. My husband and his buddies have been asking me to join them in the 501st for years. But I just don't have the talent to put something together. Kudos to those of you who can though!

    You can make costumes without sewing, 501st do armour....chicks dig it...apparently ;) I taught myself to sew, its taken 16 years.... :p

    Edit: Got my patch on..... ;)

    Lol, you should see their eyes light up at the mention of transforming me into Aurra Sing. I think they'd be disappointed if I covered all up in armor. Honestly I would do TIE pilot, but my husband promised I could have another baby and that is my main priority right now.
