    In a galaxy far away doing non-Star Wars-type stuff. Made some albums, sold precisely none; the usual.

    Was talking to Swan the other day and then had a cursory look in here and decided I could stop lurking for a change. Certainly had a surfeit of that recently.

    Was thinking about Ton Phanan's death in the Wraith Squadron novels and that was one of the most emotional and best handled deaths I've ever read Star Wars wise only behind Chewie and Anakin Solo. Need to go back and read those books. Great times.

    It was well done.......Chewies I was sad, but Anakin....I actually cried. See, I'm a mother and the thought of losing a child like that ripped my heart out.. :(

    Chewie's death was probably the first character death that really got to me and it did. Anakin Solo is my favorite EU character. I did not read Iron Fist until years later for some reason so Ton's death caught me by surprise. I was not expecting it. I loved his friendship with Face. Those 2 were amazing together.

    Speaking of fast reading, anyone reading former-Wraith Leader CodeName_Targeter's Waru Express re-read of the entire EU on Tosche-Station?

    She must be a crazy masochist, but that aside, she reads way too damn quick. Finishes stuff in hours. I thought I was quick when I read Goblet of Fire in about 2.5 hours once, and she puts me to shame.
