I think that a good series would be one like the X-wing series only about Imperial pilots. Are there any out there that I dont know about? I know the first YJK books gives a little perspective about the Imperial pilot's mindset, but other than that, I think there is none.

in the x-wing comic, "Blood and Honor" about Baron Soontir-Fel, you get a really good idea of what the training and academy for the imperials is like. I reccommend you check it out.

Now, teh X-Wing series were useful in exploring the Post Endor/Pre-Thrawn NR, and maybe, a TIE series could be used to explore the Post EpIII, pre ANH era (closer to ANH though, get some good dirt on the so called "Rebellion")

it would be cool to star an under-funded imperial squadron just after endor.

What about during the bacta war. Hard times for the Empire. It would make a good drama and lots of action.

...and make us "sympathetic" with Yuuzhan Vong pilots? Bah, that'd never happen in a million years. (well, maybe as a fan-fic :))

    As a resource:

Which book has the most of the Imperials' side, Blood and Honor or In the Empire's Service?

    IIRC, Blood and Honor.

A pre ANH time period would be good, because the atrocities the Empire was normally attributed with would not have happened.

Is Blood and Honor a TPB. I know the Making of Baron Fel gives a good look into Imperial pilot training, and I think it may have been added to a TPB along with the comics that immediately preceeded it as they would have introduced Fel.

This Idea is brought up like once every four or six months. If done similar to the Making of Baron Fel, where the lead character ends up turning to the Rebellion/New Republic, it could be intresting. But I feel it would be much more like Shadow Hunter. Maul seemed to be the main character, as well as the main villian, going into the book. But we weren't meant to root for him, so he just ended up as the main villian. And the book ended up being about the heros trying to escape Maul, as shown through their eyes.

Blood and Honor is the TPB of The Making of Baron Fel and Family Ties.
