SWRPF Archive X-Wing Vrs. Tie Fighter:A pilots life

Story
Four months before the battle of Hoth, the Rebel Alliance has set up a small asteroid base known as Beta Outpost in the Hoth asteroid belt in order to check for any Imperial activity. This base,lead by Captain Skriidon Prak, is home to the Rebel's Scimtar Squadron, lead by Captain Prak himself.After a few days, an Imperial Interdictor known as the Rapier,which is home to the Imperial Intercepter Squadron known as Rapier wing, makes a wrong hyperspace jump and ends up in the Hoth asteriod belt.They know of Beta Outpost and Scimtar Squadron must now find and destroy the Rapier before the Imperials find out about Echo Base.

Objective
If your a Rebel in Scimtar Squadron, you have to find and destroy the Rapier.If you are an Imperial, you must find and destroy Beta Outpost.

Rules
1.No God-Moding at all!
2.If you are going to play, you must be a pilot in either Rapier or Scimtar Squadron.
3.Please try to post at least once every 3 days.
4.No flaming or controlling other players.
5.Each person can only have one charecter.

Everything Else
~I will be Skriidon Prak,Captain of Beta Oupost and Scimtar Squadron.
~The Imperial Squadron will be lead by another player who will be a Captain.Whoever wants to can be the leader of Rapier Wing.
~Both Squadrons can only have 12 pilots at the most.
~I know Rule number 2 says that everyone must be a pilot.This goes for everyone execept one person.This one person will be an Imperial Commander and he will be in Charge of the Interdictor.Whoever wants to can be that one person.
~Everyone in Rapier Squadron except the Captain/leader is a lituentent.
~People in Scimtar Squadron will not have ranks.I, as the captain/leader will be the only on.
~Later on, I will chose an XO for Scimtar Squadron.
~I will start once we have at least 6 people on both sides, but will not do any actual flying until there are 12 people on both sides.

This is a great idea, and an excellent concept, especially on the life of a Tie Fighter Pilot, this is in fact better then mine , plokoon480. Although it is missing one basic ingredient. Which is, its missing a Character sheet to which the players could post their info. Or, are you pretty much handling that? Either way this is still a great idea and it would grealy beseech me if you could keep me updated on the outcome of this RPG. Also, if you have any questions at all, please feel free to PM me at anytime and I will get back to you as soon as I can. However, if the problem increases to a point where our RPF Moderator Protégé-Of-Thrawn needs to step in, then by no chances are you to wait. Please PM him immediately and he will handle it from there.

Bio: Started as a hotshot hot-rodder on a swoop bike on his devastated planet Kuan, which had been engaged in a decades-long war with neighboring Bordal. Bordali agents soon kidnapped Maarek and his mother to force his father Kerek to do their bidding. On the way to Bordal, they were intercepted by the Imperial Star Destroyer Vengeance. The Empire declared martial law in the system, and the war between Kuan and Bordal at last was over. Maarek started as a mechanic aboard the Vengeance, and on a flight to test out repairs on a TIE Interceptor, he helped save the life of the Star Destroyer's commander, Admiral Mordon. That led to an invitation to join the Imperial Navy and become a fighter pilot. He is now assigned to Rapier Squadron as a Cadet this will be his first test of life as a TIE Pilot.

Personality: Easygoing. Enjoys meeting new people and visiting exotic locales. But he is very sensitive about his enormous size. And like all Herglic, he enjoys games of chance. Also has a deep respect for Wookies.

Flying Experience: He was a veteran of the Giju planetary defense force before the Empire came. While Herglic technology was on par with the rest of the galaxy, the Empire severely outnumbered them with swarms of TIE fighters. After he threw in his lot with the alliance, he was dismayed that their snubfighters could not accomodate such a massive being. This problem was remedied when he was granted permission to modify an X-wing to suit his needs. "Orbit" sacrificed its limited cargo space in order to create enough room to squeeze into the fighter. However, it is still far from comfortable, even though the cockpit is now large enough to fit a pair of average size humans. Being stationed at Beta Outpost is his first official assignment for the alliance, but he should hardly be considered a rookie.

Faction: Alliance

Bio: Was part of the armed resistance force that fought against the Empire when they took over Giju. These otherwise peaceful beings were slaughtered by superior Imperial forces, which finally convinced them to submit to the Empire's will. For his massive size and strength, not to mention his part in the failed uprising, "Orbit" became a slave of the Empire. He hated manual labor, and after a year of toiling away aboard a slave ship, decided he had had enough. He and a pair of captured Wookies overpowered their captors and freed the rest of the slaves. A battle for control of the ship ensued, and many were killed. Sadly, the slaves did not manage to take the ship. However, most of them did find their way to an escape pod and flee.
"Orbit" was one of the last to go. It took the combined might of both his Wookie companions to stuff him akwardly into an escape pod. To this day, he still does not know if his brave friends made it out after him.

He was picked up by the alliance at an undisclosed location soon afterwards.

(Note: he got the nickname "Orbit" because he is so big, that someone once said he has his own orbit. He is not particularily fond of this name, but it stuck, so he has learned to accept it.)
