    X wing render

    X-wing mesh from scifi3d, by Mister-X, starbackground from.... don't remember.

    Just having fun rendering this mesh because I like it. Look great uh! Please notice I rendered it with GI, that's my personnal touch that makes it even cooler. it took me about 5 minutes (including rendering time), hard work.
    Edit= I forgot: I've unfolded the wings.

    Any constructive crits or comments are welcome.

    Now, Let's see how long it will take to Zoo to close this thread. Yeah I've got to much free time during holiday... I could work on Crunchy's meshes instead.

    heres my best effort with it, done a few months ago now. This is still my favorite star wars mesh on the net.

    I think they both showcase the model very well.

    Yeah, this'll probably be locked, but it's good to know Dr.Jones is still alive.

    Weird how we give the last guy who did this a bunch of crap for making the thread and then turn around and praise you. Still, nice render. GI makes it look dead sexy.

    like them both too, only thing that bugs me about that model is that the nose looks fake, although the one with motion blur looks great!

    this was an old render from a while ago, back when you did your Matrix/X-wing animation where the stars didn't move...

    I remember ;)

    I got that it was a jab at someone who is being a Scrooge this Christmas season, but I didn't want to say anything. :)

    Translation: Roughly

    Good! Do you have anything new to show us? (Ok, I guessed on the second part. I didn't do well in French class, that's why I had to switch to Spanish.)

    You almost made it. The second part was ok, but actually "Bon alors" means "Well". Yeah that was a hard one

    New stuff... let me see... not really. I've got some 2d stuffs but that's all. Those are just photoshop coloring. When the drawing isn't mine, I give credit at the bottom of the pic. "dessin de" means "art by"
    and then, the name of the guy. easy. So don't tell me: "Hey this is feng Zhu art" I already know that, and I noted it down.

    I've work on very few stuff on Max. Let me render some pic, and I'll post them

    Edit= here they are

    More work on Kyle Katarn
    [image=http://membres.lycos.fr/ouatzefeuk/wip/kylebody.jpg]

    Started the Moldy Crow, Should very very detailed
    [image=http://membres.lycos.fr/ouatzefeuk/wip/mc01.jpg]
    [image=http://membres.lycos.fr/ouatzefeuk/wip/mc02.jpg]

    and work on wolverine body. The head is just pasted here, no welding done yet

    Your illustration is good. Some stuff that could get you banned on these boards ;) but good. Very sharp. You definately have established your own style at the very least.

    Katarn's looking good! Wolvering looks a little thin at the moment, but he's a WIP, right?

    Good job, especially since it's hard to model something cartoon-style.
