A_J, at the end when Jean Grey becomes red, she turned into Phoenix. Gambit made a cameo. Beast made a cameo as Dr. McCoy.

So Jean Grey did not die!
HAHA Told you so! If you don't beleive me ask around!

Kitty - The fact that they didn't use the same actor pissed me off too

Wolvie - [face_love] [face_love] Corridor Run Oh My! :D And the killing was Abso-Friggin'-Lutely Amazing! He just cut through that strike team like butter! :D Good character stuff, "Bub!"

Cyclops - I actually felt for the guy in this one. He was just some glib, smug jerk in X1, but in here he was more fleshy and empathetic. (Still like Wolvie better [face_love] )

Storm - WTF! Accent Please! You can't just throw the whole thing out the wondow w/o a trace. At least leave a small trace in there. She had a lot of lines in this one, and for the complete lack of an accent was a wrong move.

Rogue - Not so much of her in this one, and not so much bad accent (but at least she didn't abandon it :p ). The scenes she did have were good ones though, and helped to advance the plot and the sub-plot (namely the stuff w/ Pyro)

Iceman - The whole jealousy thing was sooooo cute ;) Even though Wolvie kind of made him look silly for it (Yeah whatever kid ;) ). The thing w/ his family not knowing about his mutant status was awesome! And where his brother calls the cops on him, cool, but not over the edge (he did make something up, instead of saying there were mutants, so I think there may be more there).

Jean Grey - This was the only weak part for me. Not so much that it distracted me, but I thought the sub-plot in there was not as strong as it should have been.

Nightcrawler - Wooooo Hooooooo! That was fan-damn-tastic! The TP was great, the charcter stuff was amazing, and the little thing they had going w/ Storm (very interestink)

And Colossus - That was friggin' awesome!

Just saw it, that was AWESOME!

Not much left to say since ZOO pretty much covered it ;)...except Colossus...No Russian accent!!

I loved at the end when Professor X kinda smiles. IMHO he's realizing Jean isn't dead.

There's going to be a third movie right? I hope the eventually do a crossover movie with all the Marvel heroes.

Anyone spot Stan Lee? He's done a cameo in every movie so far. I'll have to see it again and watch for him. Didn't spot him til I bought the DVD on the first one.

Gotta go see it again...............Wolvie! [face_love]

As far as I know, there's going to be a sequel. I believe it was planned to be 3 movies. I mean, they gotta have more than what they did on Beast and Gambit.

I'm afraid I missed these 2 cameos, actually (what I get for watching the midnight show). I'll be seeing it again, but how did Gambit get mentioned by name, and where was the Dr.?

Gambit got mentioned in the scene with Mystique looking through the files on the computer, his name appears. And plus they did a scene with him in it, but sadley they cut it from the movie. *hopes it is on the DvD* :)
And as for Dr. Henry McCoy, I really cannot remember. hehe.
I am gonna go watch it again and try to look for his cameo.

Oh, and for the fans of all things cars...

Mmmmmmmmmm, RX-8. Rotory goodness. Sounded really sweet too. (I had heard it was going to be in the movie, but still surprised me a bit).

I didn't watch all the credits, but it would not surprise me if Mazda put something in there to the tune of "The RX-8's ignition system cannot be overridden by jamming a sharp knife into it and turning." lol

Fun stuff!! :) Even the Utard audience appreciated it - there were a couple of obviously hard-core X-men fans there. :D Saw it at the same theater that I camped out for Episode 1 at. ahhh, memories.

Who wants to go again? :D

I'm sorry I missed it with y'all, but I did see it there the next day.

Have to agree. I liked this movie better than the first.

Now as an avid reader of X-men comics for a number of years (actually I jumped aboard around the time of the death of Superman and the Azreal Batman) I was trying to remember who was Jason Starkey. What was his codename?

    Things I like:
    The Beserker Wolverine.
    The Weapon X background
    Pyro Defection
Jean Grey (I felt she was going to say, "I have a bad feeling about this")
Rogue (Is it me or is Anna Paquin looking hot)
    Nightcrawler
    Allusion to Jean/Wolverine psychic connection

    Thing I did not like:
Rogue & Bobby Drake Relationship-I've always thought of her as Gambit girl.
If Jean became Phoenix, then I have a small problem. Doesn't go by the comic.

I like it though. Might see it again.

I do have one question about the movie....What happened to Sabertooth I understand at the end of the movie that he falls out of the statue of liberty at the end of the movie and into the boat. But he is exactly like wolverine and I am sorry he is not going to die that easy. He is wolverines worst enemy they cant kill him off that easy. If they do that is just like episode 1 when they killed darth maul. Can anyone tell me?

The reason why Sabretooth was not in X2 is because Tyler Mane did not sign a contract, so he was not in X2. There was no real reason he just did not sign a contract. :)

I believe that Sabertooth also has healing factor as his mutant power. I don't remember Lady Death Strike ever having healing factor. And of course, they dismissed Yoriko's and Logan prior relationship.

MC gets off his geek soapbox
