Xanatos Fan Thread

The coolest villin to come out of any kids books.
This thread is devoted to JA's Xanatos.He was Qui Gons first apprentice but turned to the darkside to help his father in his campaign of taking over his homeworld Telos.Any fans of this Dark Jedi out there?

 

No one likes Xanatos?

 

Oooh... Just starting to get through the JA series (I've read books 1,4,5,6,7 and now 8, sorta missing two and three) and as little as I've read of Xani I'm already starting to think he's really cool.

 

Yeah how exactly is his name pronounced?

 

Never read any of the kiddie books, but I must point out; QG didn't have much luck with people around him and the DS, huh?

Well I have not heard of him but his name definetly sounds cool. No matter how it is pronounced.

OK this IS obi-wannabe here, this is just my/her other username so don't get confused. I'm sorta like Padme and the Queen here. Gah. Anyway I haven't read enough JA books to know MUCH about Xanatos but I know well enough. DOes anyone know where his name comes from?

 

Watson made the name up.She wanted something that sounded evil.Xanatos fits the critery.

 

Yeah it does...... But who'd take a Padawan with such an evil sounding name? OK sorry had to ask that. But um the first book was written by someone else and Xani's mentioned in it... What IS going on there?

 

Ahhh, Xanatos... My favorite character (at least my favorite non-NJO character)!

I still refuse to believe he killed himself. Come on, the guy ALWAYS had a back door!

I'm back,Yes Dave Wolverton wrote the first book but I heard that Watson made the name up.They must of talked before writing the books.

Seventh one there. It's on the How Jedi Apprentice Obsessive Are You quiz so basically I just ask Xanatos= and I gadge how obsessed you are from the response. ^^^
Man Xanatos is SUCH a cool baddy. Sorry nothing more intelligent to say but you know it's the thought that counts.

What do you mean? Well I do like Xani I'm just not yet caught up enough on my JAs to know all that much. Actually nah. I'm not caught up enough yet I'm still obsessed with them (you're looking at an Over Obsessive Jedi Apprentice geek here) and I know nearly everything else from too much fan fic.
