[Xbox 360|PC] Bioshock *spoilers*

I'll give them a B+ for effort, but subtract points for being terrible choices for the characters.

 

It's official:

BioShock coming out soon for the PS3.

With a few new buffs not present in the Xbox 360 version, apparently.

 

Meh. I would have preferred that is stay a 360/PC game.

 

Yeah, I'm wondering if there's going to be another "Oblivion-port" type of problem for the PS3 version, if the hardware can't handle the processor-load properly for a game originally designed for a completely different operating system.

(Also, X-Play on G4 confirmed this story about half an hour ago-ish, so it looks legit, all right.)

release time frame is 2010.

admittedly this is likely to be either really good, or really bad. at least they have ken levine is friends with verbinski and they've been talking a lot about how they think it needs to go. bit more hope for it as a result.

Just worked my way through the PS3 demo and I can see why this game now has the rep it has, running around with a friendly security bot got damn smart as I go round a corner and hit a turret, I leg it but the bot stays and blasts it pieces! Great stuff. Never mind the idea of electrifying water. And then there's corpse robbing!

It's also bloody creepy, but has a wonderful design aesthetic.

Can't see any problems with it running on PS3 really, given how the demo worked.
