VIDEO XBox One

Breaking news: the new Xbox will be the central hub for all forms of entertainment in the living room.

this is all it has to do:

-reverse the decline of console gaming
-play Blu-rays
-sell x box ready game aps online
-make your cable/sat menu fun to look at and handle regular tv watching
-record all your favorite tv shows
-handle all your streaming video rentals/purchases and integrate it seamlessly with your cable/sat tv viewing
-manage and play your music
-Skype
-order takeout
-run a fully functional version of Explorer web browser
-handle voice and gesture commands
-not ever remind you to get up off your ass and leave the house to do a little exercise.

 

Xbox One was great. I preferred Ps3 over Xbox360.

So what's the new Xbox called?

My XBox 360 is almost 8 years old and has never stopped working. That's pretty impressive. My first gen iPad is still working too.

So the question is, do I get one of these, or wait for the new Apple HD tv set, which is being positioned as the central hub for all forms of entertainment in the living room?

 

They should've just called it the Xbox 362.

 

I shall not be purchasing one. Take that, Microsoft.

 

I bought my kids the Kinect a few years ago, and they got 2-3 hours of solid entertainment out of it before they never used it again.

 

I just don't see how that's possible given all the classic Kinect games currently available, like...



... Um...

 

So the new PS is four times better?

 

I saw a NOVA where a Kinect was mounted on an experimental drone!

 

New PS > Xbox 1

 

I would never buy it. I am trying to downgrade technology in my household. There is just too much nowadays....

 

Worse specs than the PC I'm posting from. Go figure. /elitist At least the games developed for the XBox One and ported to PC will still be light years ahead of the 360.

And pre-rendered "footage" should be outlawed and everyone who makes it should be drawn and quartered. Show me what the games will actually ****ing look like, please, and not your bad CGI animated film.
