So CO XBOX? PS-2? NGC? PC? Games!!!!

I keep taking my little bros GBA and playing games on it. its fun. I think i might get mario and just play it on that.

 

Now I need to get URU (Myst IV). I've played them all and really like this series. This one is full 3D and has an online element with multiplayer puzzles. I hope my machine will be able to hack it though. Only got a PIII 650. It says it needs a 900mhz.

what's special about battlefield 1942 that I wouldn't be able to play it on mine?

had UT2003 since it came out. Sweet, but I still like the original better. I don't PC game all that much. About all I have is UT, UT2k3, Jedi Knight, JK2: Jedi Outcast, Galactic Battlegrounds, Return to Krondor (which I've never played), and I think that's about it...

got a buttload of graphics, video, etc. software on the computer though...

 

Traded in a bunch and picked up Crimson Skies for XBox this weekend. So far, I like it. I don't know if this "fly around shooting stuff" will remain fun for very long though. The story and variety may keep it interesting.

Xbox, N-64, and Sega! Best games are Sonic, Buffy, Halo, and Two Towers. Oh yeah, can't forget Ms.Pacman.

 

I still haven't played any of the buffy games. I was close to buying an x-box for the first buffy game...glad I didn't b/c the 2nd one came out on all 3 systems...so I can play it w/o reducing myself to buying the dreaded x-box

I oughta check it out sometime soon tho...

 

Halo is one of the few good games for the SuX-Box

I have the Cube, PS2, XBOX, Dreamcast, GBA, N64, and PC (I too built my own PC, but it is teh s uck). I didn't want to be biased when it came to good games. Especially Star Wars titles.

 

i wish they would make starwars jedi starfighter for the cube cause i like that game but im preety much broke so i cant buy a ps2 or a sux-box

 

I will not by the x-box unless I get an INSANE deal from someone I know (I'm talkin like $50 for the system and a couple games or something like that).

The Cube and PS2 are where it's at.

 

You might be able to get it used. That is how my brother got it. But I forget the magazine name that he got the deal from. As for the Buffy games, there pretty fun. The controlers aren't as confuesing. In ways I like the first one over the second because there isn't a lot of looking around. In other ways, I like the second a lot because when the vampire is down you can just stake them! Plus, you can be other people. Like Xander, Spike, etc...

OK as far as my previous statement about the X-box controllers being the only thing holding me back from getting one...

My brother-in-law got an x-box for Christmas and he got these really cool compact controllers for it that are very cofortable to use. Also he got Knights of the Old Republic for it which he informs me is one of the best games of all time.

I got Return of the King, ATV offroad fury II, and Medal of Honor: Rising Sun for my PS2. All three are great games, but my favorite so far is Medal of Honor (though I've been a fan of the whole series since the beginning).

 

i agree with you JD the cube and ps2 are where it is at

though i personally think the controll for the cube tare thge best of the three.
