Xmas Lights in Cardiff

The new Doctor Who David Tennant and Billie Piper are turning on Cardiff's xmas lights, anyone going?

 

I'g go if a Dalek were putting the lights on.

When is it?

 

Thursday

 

Where and what time?

 

6:45 by the city hall amd courts, round the corner from where the ice rink will be. There's stuff on from 5:45 but the lights seem the only interesting thing, it will probably be loads of local radio djs with inflated egos and really rubbish sounding generic popbands like at Cardiff's bonfire night thing

 

So what day?

 

Detail was never my strong suit.

And upwards?

Don't think i'll be going. Bit far to go just to see someone who looks like that guy from Top Gear and Chris Evans' ex.

Now if teh Cyber Men were to turn up....

Different story.

 

They came out of the TARDIS and had some fireworks, quite fun

went to see Harry Potter at midnight after, Tennant was in that too, i was most pleased

 

Anyone else catch the start of the new Dr Who on Children in Need?

I saw a bit of it. It was alright. I just hope he develops a new character. He just seems to be playing the Chris Eccelston version of the Dr, but with a different look.

Which doesn't make sense. All the doctors have their own personality, which is the entire point of regeniration.

 

I saw that too, it's probably cos the rengeneration was going wrong, he retained some of Eccleston's characteristics for a while. Maybe it's just the power of the leather jacket, once that goes he'll be ok
