I'd like to offer the suggestion of a movie night (thanks for the idea Toronto Long Line) at Silver City St. Catharines. I need a preferred time and movie.

 

How about a Friday or Saturday Night in mid-june? That would be great for me.

BTW, are we all gonna wear the YJN t-shirts? Think of the PUBLICITY!

 

Signing up! By the way, if your were going to have it in mid-june, don't make it between 9AM to 4PM (no early matinee's) because some people (ME) have exams.

A movie sounds great, but which one?
I would like to see Freddy Got Fingered, if it were still playing. What would you guys like to see? Chris, you should put up a poll for us to vote which movie to see

 

Hello everyone, David from Toronto just popping in to say 'Hi'.

I'd suggest seeing a movie on its opening weekend, since you'll likely get the biggest crowd and have the best atmosphere in the theater.

Taking a quick look at the upcoming movies for June, we have Evolution and Swordfish on the 8th covering Comedy and Dumb-action respectively. Then there's Atlantis and Tomb Raider: animation (sorry, I don't know/remember much about the actual plot) and T&A (Tombs and Ass) and AI looking to cover SF on the 29th.

Just a breakdown of what looks to me like the most likely movies for a group outing.

 

Maybe it's just me, but I don't think seeing Freddy Got Fingered would be positive sponsoring for Young Jedi Niagara, the Women's Place, Lucasarts, and Star Wars in general. Tom Green is just... well, he's Tom Green. The sponsoring we would be giving all of those places would probably be negative, would it not? Also, some of the younger members parents might not allow them to see that movie (Especially MINE), so please pick a movie that everyone can see. I think Atlantis would be great. Why? Because MARK HAMMIL plays one of the voices. It would make a lot of sense, everyone could see it, and it looks like a good movie. Whadda ya say?

 

I think Freddy Got Fingered is one of the worst things to see. Darth Yeroc is exaclty right. It would give us a bad reputation.

I haven't heard about Atlantis but I am willing to go see it. and MARK HAMILL is in it!

So make that two votes for Atlantis

 

yeah, i guess you're right about Freddy got Fingered, it was just what I wanted to see, i guess it is not appropriate to sponser us. i guess atlantis is good
