Niagara, ON Y.J.N. receives another award for their costumes.

    I woke up this morning to find a large envelope in the mail addressed from the Niagara Grape & Wine Festival. I opened the envelope to find this:

    The Niagara Grape & Wine Festival presents this certificate for 1st Place to Star Wars-Young Jedi Niagara in the category Best Costumed Characters in the 50th Pen Centre Grande Parade 2001.

    Way to go guys.
    That?s 4 awards in 3 events:

    Masquerade contest at the SFX Expo = Best Group Award

    Pied Piper Parade = Eryn's Best Costumed Character, and 2nd Place Best Costumed Group

    And now

    The Grape and Wine Grande Parade = 1st Place Best Costumed Characters

    Wow! That's fantastic! :)
    I wonder why we didn't hear about it at the time of the parade?
    It would be nice if we got our photo in the newspaper or something.....the publicity would be very good for us.....and Women's Place.

    Sweeet! Took'm long enough to tell us, though :p

    Well I'm really proud of us all and our hard work put into our costumes which we have gained much recognition for. Thanks again to Jerry from DMZ for letting us borrow some of his!
